Share a screenshot of your Zap as well for us to understand better what is going on. This guide will show you how to do that. Also, are you referring to adding a Request Update button to trigger submission?

Keep in mind that it does allow triggering submission in Zapier when the submission is edited. You might also want to check this guide How to Use Zapier with Jotform for more information.
