I am at a loss, i have setup all my conditions in the order that they should happen, before I did that It was working except for one condition. Now When I am going through the form for my "Visitor" categories, it goes from page one to my thank you page ...it skips all the other pages. The "Member" track is working as it should. Here's what I'm trying to get my conditions to do as far as moving through the form:

Any Visitor Category should be able to complete page 1, after clicking "Next"

    > Go to Page 3

    > Go to Page 5

Now when I click Next it goes from page 1 to page 5 for any visitor category. I like the features in this app but these conditions are giving me fits! PLEASE HELP.

    FORM NAME: "DIGITAL DEACON"

Also, the fields where we have to enter data, names, phone number, special needs, keeps the previous data can I make it not retain that for the next time the form is used?

    Hi Patricia,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your form and saw multiple conditions that are conflicting. Take a look at the screenshot below:

This is the reason none of them is working. We can help you with correcting this if you could tell us which pages should show if the answer is First Time Visitor, which pages should show if it's Repeat Visitor, and which pages should show if the answer is Member. Also, I recommend putting all the form elements corresponding to each visitor option on the same page/pages, so that there will be fewer conditions to set up.

Once we hear back from you, we can help you sort this out.

Any visitor Category First Time Visitor and Repeat Visitor condition should be:

    > Complete page one (all fields working)

    > Next = Page 3

    > Next = Page 5

For Members - There is a condition setup to prevent member access to identify their "Name" Field and the Phone number field, These fields are for visitors only. All other fields both can fill out.

Also, when I select the name and phone# field, is the historical data that shows seen by anyone who uses the app? Can we prevent this from showing up once it has been entered?

    Thank you!!!

    Hi Patricia,

Your conditions are currently conflicting, which causes the form to skip pages unexpectedly. To fix this, you should set up conditions that clearly define the navigation path for each visitor category without overlap.

To reduce conflicts and make conditions easier to manage, consider grouping all elements for each visitor category on a single page or across multiple pages. This way, fewer conditions are needed, and the form flow will be more predictable.

The details that you've provided above aren't specific enough for us to set up the condition correctly. Can you share more details on what pages need to be filled out once the user selects First Time Visitor, Repeat Visitor & Member?

To keep the conversation organized, I moved your other question to its own thread, and someone from our Support Team will help you with it here.

When we hear back from you, we’ll be ready to move forward.

So, Do I need for the first page to establish if the person is a Member or a Visitor. Right Now, that's the first question so I thought it would be easy once I got pass page one. Here's a Recommendation:

What if I create A Landing page that will determine which track the user will follow:

    • Page 1 is a Link to Select Visitor or Member
    • If you Click Either Visitor Link "First Time or Repeat Visitor," You will be directed to pages 2-3-4 Including a Thank You Page -4
    • If you Click Member You will be directed to pages 5-6-7 including a Thank You Page-7

let me know if this will work, if not I'm open to Recommendations

    Hi Patricia,

I cloned your form for testing to review the conditions. There are indeed conflicting conditions that can be simplified. For some reason, it will not execute the condition if the field What is your status with us today? is equal to First Time Visitor or Repeat Visitor. To resolve this, I included fields from page 1 into the condition. Check out the following screenshot:

Hide and Skip to Page Conditions Not Working Image 1 Screenshot 50And here's the condition if it's equal to Repeat Visitor:

Hide and Skip to Page Conditions Not Working Image 2 Screenshot 61Now, to prevent the condition from executing prematurely on the 1st page, include at least one required field from page 3 in the condition. Create similar conditions as shown in the screenshots below:

Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.

What if I had just two Lanes, one for Members and one for "Visitors." I could ask if they are a first time visitor in a subsequent question. Then I would only have Member and Visitor Track. I could make sire all the Member pages are in order, then All the Visitor pages can be in order if they skip all the member pages and then arrange in sequential order. Would that help?

    Hi there!

I think that would be a great solution. It would take away the complication of the previous conditions, and make it easier to make changes further down the road if it came up!

You can also make two separate card forms for each person (i.e. Member vs. Visitor) and depending on which they pick, they will get separate questions. Some users do this via two different forms and connecting them on that first multiple choice - it's completely up to you.

I would follow the plan you have stated above, and use any other methods as back up options.

Let me know if that helps!

    Hi Patricia,

Can you review my teammate's last response here and apply it to your form? If it's done and the issue persists, can you share more details about the part that still doesn't work under the conditions?

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
