Hi, I am writing regarding the Jotform's submission limit. I want to limit the response for gender and age variable, so that if the response hits 500 from Male and Under 40 years, I want to make sure that the next respondent that fits the same criteria is not able to take the survey. Could you please help with that? It is to ensure the representativeness of the survey. Thanks

    Hi Shiwani,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, it is not possible to set up a conditional submission limit directly within Jotform that counts the values of two separate fields like gender and age and then stops the form based on that combined count. You can only disable the form conditionally in the form settings, which is exactly the guide you shared.

While the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

I precisely have the same request !

I was looking for the hack to actually REDIRECT USERS based on such conditions, with one form per bucket, and then limit each form to a desired number. So its a mess.

However my external panel provider needs to redirect respondents to a certain URL when quota is reached, and AFAIK this is not possible because when the form is deactivated we can only setup a "message" but not a redirect URL...

In fact, the solution is pretty easy. Either you allow us to setup a redirect URL for cases when users get on a form that is deactivated because quota is reached, instead of just display a custom message.

OR (better) you give us access to the variable of "number of submissions" which is something that you have in the back-end already, and we play with this condition ourself
