Hi Cory,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Let me help you with that:
The Cybersource billing error you are encountering when submitting your form can be caused by several factors related to the payment gateway setup. Here are some key points to check:
- Ensure your CyberSource integration is correctly configured with the required Merchant ID, Transaction Key, and currency settings.
- Verify that your form includes the necessary Email and Address elements if you have enabled billing address and email options in the payment settings.
- If you have enabled 3D Secure 2.0 for added security, make sure you have entered the Cardinal API Key, Cardinal API Identifier, and Cardinal OrgUnit ID correctly in the CyberSource payment settings.
- Check if you are using sandbox mode with test credentials or live mode with real credentials, as mismatches can cause errors.
Reviewing these settings usually resolves most billing errors with CyberSource on Jotform forms.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

No. If I use our customer's address, it works ok. But when using our Bill-To address it fails.

Hi Cory,
Thanks for the update. Since the form works with your customer's address but fails with the Bill-To address, please check if the Bill-To address fields are correctly mapped and formatted in your CyberSource settings. Also, verify if any address validation or restrictions are enabled that might block the Bill-To address.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

How do check to see if fields are correctly mapped?
-
Podo: Support AI AgentReplied on July 16, 2025 at 5:35 PM
Hi Cory,
To check field mapping in CyberSource settings, go to your form's payment integration settings in Jotform. Verify that the Bill-To address fields (such as street, city, state, zip) are correctly linked to the corresponding form fields. Make sure the field types match and that no required fields are left unmapped.
If you need detailed steps, I can provide them.

Hi Cory,
Here’s how to check field mapping for CyberSource in Jotform:
- Open your form in Jotform Form Builder.
- Go to the Payment Settings for CyberSource integration.
- Review the Bill-To address fields and ensure each is linked to the correct form field (street, city, state, zip).
- Confirm that all required fields are mapped and the field types match (e.g., address fields to address inputs).
- Save any changes and test the form again.

Hi Cory,
Can you explain a bit more about the issue so I can get a better idea of what's happening? Can you share with us a screen recording of what’s happening so we can try to replicate it on our end? You can share the video recording on any public sharing platform like Google Drive or Dropbox, or you can simply use Loom to record the video and share the video link with us.
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

Hi Cory,
Upon checking, it appears that you correctly mapped the field in your CyberSource payment integration settings. The issue might be related to address validation or restrictions on the CyberSource side. You may want to contact CyberSource support to confirm if there are any specific rules or blocks on the field you are using.
Also, make sure that the Merchant ID, Transaction Key, and currency settings are correct in your CyberSource payment integration settings. You may check our guide on How to Integrate CyberSource with Jotform for more details.
Reach out again if you have any other questions.

I got the answer from Cybersource Support. It's my/our customer's bill-to data that Cybersource needs NOT my/our bill-to information.

Hi Cory,
Can you send us a screenshot of the reply from the Cybersource Support so I can create a ticket for our developer to investigate further? We’ve got a guide here that’ll show you how to do that.
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.
