I have tried to carefully follow the video directions for creating a scenario in jotform where a form comes in, and enters the information to a word doc in dropbox. But I have tried multiple times and it's not working, the scenario stops every time.
- Jotform - Watch for Submissions1+0.7s
- The operation was completed.
- Dropbox - Download a File2+0.6s
- The operation was completed.
- Microsoft Word Templates - Fill out a document3
- The operation failed with an error.
- Validation failed for 3 parameter(s).
- - Invalid filename in parameter 'fileName'.
- - Collection can't be converted to text for parameter 'key'.
- - Collection can't be converted to text for parameter 'key'.

Hi Dr. Yehuda,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Can you please share a screenshot of how you set up your Make.com scenario? We’ve got a guide here that’ll show you how to do that. I would also suggest that you change the file name of your Word document, do not include special characters if possible. Please also make sure that the merge tags in your Word document are correct. You can find the correct merge tags by checking the Field's Unique Name. Let me show you how:
- Click on the field to highlight it then click the Gear icon.
- Click on the Advanced tab.
- Scroll down then expand the Field Details to see the Unique Name.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Dr. Yehuda,
Unfortunately, accessing the Word document requires a Dropbox Business account to access that file or page. Could you perhaps set the file permission to the public so that we can preview/download the file and see how to replicate the issue in Make? You can also share the file in Google Drive.
After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

Hi Dr. Yehuda,
I tried setting up everything in my Make account following this guide, and I was able to set every module and save the whole scenario successfully. Check out the screencast below to see my results:
Can you take a screenshot of the Microsoft Word Templates module, showing the Value and Key fields as shown in the screenshot below?
As soon as we hear back from you, we can move forward with this.

Hi Dr. Yehuda,
When I tried replicating your set-up on Make.com, I kept getting an error as well. However, the error I was getting was "InvalidConfigurationError Unclosed tag The tag beginning with "{" is unclosed", so I checked the template and found that under the "DOB" field, the number of curly braces, didn't match:
In Make.com, I have set up my module as follows:
1. Make sure that the Key matches any of the text in your template that are enclosed with {{ and }}, in my case, I wanted to fill out the {{yourName}} portion of the template.
2. For items in the submission that has an arrow, make sure to expand them as they contain collections. For example, the Your Name data will contain the First Name and Last Name. Make sure to add both to the value.
After making the changes in the set-up, I was able to create the flow successfully:See following screenshot of the result:
That's it. I run into some issues, can you take a screenshot of the whole configuration of your Microsoft Word Template set up that includes the upper portion?
Give it a try and let us know if you need any other help.

Hi Dr. Yehuda,
I have checked your screenshots, and it seems that the curly bracket still not removed as suggested by my colleague Shane:
Can you go ahead and make this change and try to test again?
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I have changed it. However, I am still experiencing an error. Would you be able to advise?

Hi Dr. Yehuda,
The issue seems to be with the Dropbox configuration now. Have there been any changes, such as moving the folder or modifying its permissions? The error code 409 showing on the logs may be because you are connected to a different account that doesn't have access to that file/folder or because the intended file path is incorrect.
Can you please double-check and give it another try and let us know what happens? If you're still having the same issue, we'll do a more in-depth investigation and work on finding a solution.
Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.
