Top 9 AI presentation makers of 2025
Creating slideshows and presentations is a necessary evil. OK, that’s a bit of an exaggeration. But as a marketing professional, I’m constantly creating presentations to report performance to clients — and I can’t be the only one who finds it takes just a few minutes to get my information on there, then forever to get it looking good.
That’s why I’ve been testing some of the best artificial intelligence (AI) presentation makers, looking for the right AI marketing tool to build slides and help me reclaim some of my time. To me, the right tool doesn’t just offer automation — it helps refine my big ideas and gives options when my modest graphic design skills fail.
After all that testing, I’m ready to share which came out on top and what each offers to help you find the best AI tools for your presentations.
How I tested the AI presentation makers
My selection process focused on five critical features when it comes to AI for presentations:
- Design capabilities: How does the tool make creating branded, well-designed slides easier?
- Input flexibility: What information can I give the tool for generation, and what is the quality of the output?
- Interactive features: Can I add polls, quizzes, narration, or other features to make my presentation stand out?
- Compatibility: Can I import existing presentations?
- Overall ease of use: How easy is it to learn how to use the tool? How much manual effort did it take to get my desired outcome?
For tools with text and image generation capabilities, I used the same prompts for consistency:
Slide text generation prompt
“Create a sales presentation for a new B2B software product that helps remote teams streamline internal communication. Highlight the product’s key features, the pain points it solves, and target customer profiles — and include a pricing slide and a closing call to action.”
Image generation prompt
“Photo of a sales team presenting a pitch.”
Then, I evaluated the overall quality of the slides that each tool created, how easy it was to make edits, and the different options each tool provided to make presentations better. Below, I’ll walk you through what I found while testing each AI business tool.

1. Jotform Presentation Agents
Jotform Presentation Agents is an advanced AI agent tool that can create a full slideshow, presentation script, and AI presenter from just one prompt. I was genuinely impressed by how much it could do with my simple prompt — it created a professional-looking sales presentation that only required a few tweaks to add custom information.
The AI narration was particularly impressive, creating a surprisingly engaging script with no effort on my end, and it answered my questions on the fly during a test run of the presentation. My only note is that I would have swapped out some of the AI-generated images, but that’s just personal preference.
I also found it useful that you can upload PDFs, PowerPoints, and Google Slide presentations, and then use Jotform to level up the interactivity with AI narration. Once done, you can share presentations via ads, embeds, or mailing lists.
All in all, this tool makes an impressive AI sales assistant with better quality and less effort than other tools I tested.
- Best for: Autonomous interactive presentations
- Pros: Real-time, interactive narration for a natural feel; multi-language narration with customizable voice and personality; edit text, images, and style of presentation after generating; pulls from AI agent knowledge base for context-aware responses; integrates with Google Slides
- Cons: Some images have common AI mistakes, like blurred hands
- Plans/pricing: Free version available; paid plans start at $39 per month or $34 per month when billed annually
- G2 rating: N/A (new tool)
2. Beautiful.ai
Beautiful.ai is a presentation maker for those without an eye for design. One of the first features I noticed is that any time an element is added, it automatically rearranges the slide to keep everything legible. I love that this means I can focus on the content of the slide and not worry about the layout and animation.
In addition to traditional style classic slides, this tool also features smart slides, which include dynamic charts, diagrams, and pictograms to create a more engaging experience. You can mass adjust colors and font styles as well, which allowed me to focus on playing with Beautiful.ai’s AI tools and not on formatting issues.
I was able to generate a solid jumping-off point for the text on my slides, and I was impressed with what the tool teased out of my simple generation prompt. The layout and variations tabs then made customization easy, and I can see their video and audio slide recordings being super helpful for sales teams, internal training, and more.
- Best for: Professional-looking designs with minimal effort
- Pros: Smart templates that automatically adjust layout and maintain design consistency, extensive icon library and stock media integration, AI-powered image generation capabilities, can assign slides to team members
- Cons: No advanced interactive features like quizzes, advanced customization has a steep learning curve
- Plans/pricing: Paid plans include Individual at $144 per year, and Team at $50 per user per month or $40 per user per month when billed annually
- G2 rating: 4.7/5
3. Plus AI
Plus AI is a Google Slides and PowerPoint integration, rather than its own standalone platform. Because I thought Gemini for Google Slides had some significant drawbacks (more on that later), this tool could be a good fit if you need to work within Google Workspace but want to expand your AI presentation tool options.
Plus AI frontloads information during the prompting process. I liked how I could review the outline, add topics, and refine my original prompt before it actually generated the presentation. I had some back and forth with other tools, so this process felt like a big time-saver.
The real standout feature to me was that Plus AI leaves notes in your generated presentation where it thinks you should add more information. Some AI tools made up their own statistics, so I appreciated this one letting me add more detailed information instead of taking a guess.
- Best for: PowerPoint and Google Slides integration
- Pros: Integrates with PowerPoint and Google Slides, works with existing presentations, provides clear guidance on where manual edits are needed
- Cons: Limited to features available within host platforms
- Plans/pricing: Paid plans include Individual at $15 per month or $10 per month when billed annually, and Team at $40 per user per month or $30 per user per month when billed annually
- G2 rating: N/A
4. ChatSlide
If you’re a pro at ChatGPT (check out Jotform’s post on large language model tools if you’re still looking for your favorite), then ChatSlide will feel the most familiar to you due to its natural language-based interface. Along with prompting and uploading resources, I liked that you could chat with the tool to build its knowledge and generate more accurate presentations.
ChatSlide also offers voice cloning, AI narration, and script generation, streamlining the presentation-creation process and even converting them to podcasts.
Although the tool’s interface is pretty simple, I didn’t find many learning resources to troubleshoot basic issues, and the generated slides needed some manual editing to fix spacing problems.
- Best for: Multimedia presentations with voice narration
- Pros: Voice cloning and AI narration, can convert presentations to podcasts, ability to train AI on custom materials
- Cons: Interface can be glitchy during editing, generates statistics without providing proper references
- Plans/pricing: Paid plans include Individual at $14.90 per month or $8.94 per month when billed annually, and Team at $59.90 per 5 users per month or $34.94 per 5 users per month when billed annually
- G2 rating: 4.5/5
5. Figma Slides
Figma is known for its advanced web design tools, so how does it perform in the presentation maker space? On one hand, it’s clearly a powerful AI slide generator; on the other, you need to use multiple Figma tools to unlock every AI feature.
If you’re already using Figma for work, Figma Slides can automatically create presentations based on other projects in your Figma workspace, maintaining consistency across your entire design ecosystem.
However, I had a lot of trouble navigating the tool despite an extensive learning library. If you’re familiar with Figma tools or able to invest some of the time upfront, then there’s potential to use its AI marketing tools and really scale your brand’s efforts.
- Best for: Design-focused presentations with advanced customization
- Pros: Cohesive Figma integration, advanced custom design capabilities, prototype integration and presentation tracking
- Cons: Steep learning curve for users unfamiliar with Figma, AI image generation can be difficult to access, limited standalone presentation features
- Plans/pricing: Free version available; paid plans start at $20 per month or $16 per month when billed annually
- G2 rating: N/A
6. Canva
Canva‘s presentation maker has design-focused AI tools (check out where it ranked on Jotform’s list of top generative AI tools) for businesses that need to keep everything on-brand and consistent. Its Magic Design feature creates branded presentations with integrated multimedia capabilities.
The AI-generated images were a little hit or miss. At first glance, they looked OK, but I spotted some common AI pitfalls like blurred faces and hands.
Canva was my least favorite tool for generating text, too — I found its outputs irrelevant and unhelpful. That said, I did like the variation of slide designs and layouts.
I think this tool would be best if you’re looking to create more than presentations while maintaining a strong brand style. You can make matching social media graphics, print materials, and video content to stay aligned with broader marketing initiatives.
- Best for: Branded presentations with comprehensive design tools
- Pros: Extensive branding and design customization options, multimedia creation (graphics, videos, animations), large library of templates and design elements
- Cons: AI-generated images show common quality issues, generated presentations are too simplistic
- Plans/pricing: Free version available; paid plans include Individual at $15 per month or $120 per year, and Team at $10 per user per month or $100 per user per year
- G2 rating: 4.7/5
7. Prezi
If you’re looking for a tool to generate an entire presentation, I don’t think Prezi is a good match. But it shines as a tool where you can feel like you’re collaborating with AI, rather than ordering it around.
Most of the other tools I worked with limit users via tokens or access to certain AI features. Not so with Prezi. It lets you keep a conversation going to refine your slides until you achieve what you want — making it perfect for storytelling presentations.
If you’re willing to work with it a bit, then you can get the engaging and dynamic experience Prezi is known for with less effort.
- Best for: Non-linear, dynamic presentations with AI assistance
- Pros: Unique presentation format with dynamic animations, collaborative AI, analytics and presentation tracking
- Cons: AI-generated slide content can be too general, stock photos and AI images may require manual adjustment, learning curve due to non-traditional format
- Plans/pricing: Free version available; paid plans start at $7 per month
- G2 rating: 4.2/5
8. GenPPT
GenPPT is a straightforward AI presentation tool, but simplicity comes at the cost of accuracy. Creating presentations from a prompt requires minimal setup, although I noticed a lot of spacing and layout errors before I even touched the slides.
All this is to say that you could sink more time than necessary in polishing your presentation up, despite the fact that the tool can create a good starting point when you need to generate a basic structure quickly.
I also saw that GenPPT added many statistics throughout the presentation and then generated incorrect references when prompted.
- Best for: Basic, straightforward AI presentation generation
- Pros: Simple interface, quick presentation generation from prompts
- Cons: Requires significant manual adjustment, creates many spacing and layout issues, AI assistant sometimes fails to understand simple prompts
- Plans/pricing: Paid plan is $9 per month
- G2 rating: N/A
9. Google Slides
We all know that Google has started adding generative AI features via Gemini to its workspace tools, so I figured now was the perfect time to test it out for Google Slides. If you work within Google, it’s nice to have a native AI option in the familiar Slides interface. But I must admit that this one wasn’t my favorite, especially because it can’t generate an entire presentation.
The integration was a little unreliable. You need to go one slide at a time, and I found that my generated slides all had the same layout. I also wasn’t very impressed with the quality of the output. The generated text wasn’t that helpful.
For image generation, this tool really faltered – creating images for the slides which had a lot of visible mistakes. If I asked it to generate an image separately from my slide generation request, I found the assets were much better.
- Best for: Working within the Google Workspace ecosystem
- Pros: Seamless integration with other Google Workspace products, real-time collaboration, @ mentions for Google Docs and Gmail integration, free with a Google account, Chromecast support, instant meeting creation
- Cons: AI-generated content can be overly simplistic, frequent typos and mistakes in AI-generated images, requires very specific prompts for optimal results
- Plans/pricing: Free with a Google account; Google Workspace plans start at $6 per month per user
- G2 rating: N/A
