    Merci

    Hi artbeauchamp,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our French Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.

Now, coming back to your question, I suggest you use the Unique Field feature that will set limits based on an answer from a specific field. Currently, the Unique Field feature is available only for the following elements:

    • Email
    • Short Text Entry
    • Dropdown
    • Number

Setting up the Unique Field feature is easy. Let me show you how:

    1. In the Form Builder, click on Settings in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
    2. Go to Form Settings in the upper left corner.
    3. Click the Show More Options button.Comment éviter les entrées de champs de formulaire en double ? Image 1 Screenshot 40
    4. Go to the Unique Field at the bottom.
    5. Select the available field you want to set a limit, and you're done. Comment éviter les entrées de champs de formulaire en double ? Image 2 Screenshot 51
    6. Here's the result if the same information was entered based on the set unique field answer. Comment éviter les entrées de champs de formulaire en double ? Image 3 Screenshot 62

Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hello,

Thanks for the response. As I was stating, it really needs to be the phone AND the email.

In the unique field option, it only allow us to pick one and not several.

    Hi artbeauchamp,

Unfortunately, our Unique Field feature only allows 1 field to be selected to set limits based on an answer from a specific field. Additionally, the Phone number element field isn't available to be selected from our unique field feature. The only form elements that can be chosen from this feature are the ones listed below:

    • Email
    • Short Text Entry
    • Dropdown
    • Number

To prevent your responders from submitting the same information on your form more than once, you could choose to use the Unique Submission feature.

Let us know if you need any more help.
