    Bonjour,

J'ai intégré ce formulaire à une feuille google sheet, mais la colonne "Approval status" n'apparait pas dans mes options.

Comment je peux faire pour la faire apparaitre dans ma google sheet.

    Merci

    André

    Hi André,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our French Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.

Now, coming back to your question, I’ll need a bit of time to look into this. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

    Hi André,

Unfortunately, the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, but rest assured, we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've escalated your request to our developer team. When or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

As a workaround, you can add a single choice field and hide it so that it will appear only when editing the form. Name this field as the approval status, then include an edit link in the email sent to the approver. This allows them to edit the submission and resubmit the form. When the form is updated, the approver will select the approval status manually, and the new approval status will automatically be reflected in the connected Google Sheets. Let me show you how to set that up:

First, you should add a Single Choice Field to your form and hide it:

    1. In your Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
    2. Under the Basic tab, add the Single Choice to your form.
    3. Click on the Gear icon to open the field Properties.
    4. Under the Advanced tab, scroll down to the Hide option, then Toggle it to ON.Intégration de Google Sheet : ajout dune colonne détat dapprobation Image 1 Screenshot 60

Then, we will use the Get Form Page URL to trigger the condition to show the approved field when the approver tries to edit the form. Let me walk through with you to do this:

    1. In your Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
    2. Under the Widget tab, search for the Get Form Page URL widget, and drag and drop it into your form.Intégration de Google Sheet : ajout dune colonne détat dapprobation Image 2 Screenshot 71

Now, we will use the condition to show the Approval Status Field. Let me walk you through it.

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. Click on Conditions on the left of the page.
    3. Now, click on Add a New Condition, and then click on Show/Hide Field.
    4. Set the below condition.Intégration de Google Sheet : ajout dune colonne détat dapprobation Image 3 Screenshot 82

You can now add the edit link to the approver notification email. Let me show you how:

    1. In Workflow Builder, click on the Approval Element.
    2. Click on the Gear icon to open Approval Properties.
    3. Scroll down to the Notification Email section and click on Edit Email.
    4. In the Email Content. Click on Form Fields and select Edit Link. Then click on Save.

You will also need to disable Restart Approval Flow On Submission Edit:

Since you added the Approval Status Field after the integration was added, you will also need to reintegrate the Google Sheet Integration so that it shows the Approval Status Field. Let's do it:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.

    2. In the Settings menu, click on the Integrations option on the left side of the screen.

    3. Select the Google Sheets integration.

    4. Then, click on Remove Integration, and then yes, remove!

    5. Now, let's connect the Google Sheets Integration again:

    6. In Form Builder, circle back to Settings at the top of the page.

    7. In the Settings menu, click on the Integrations option and Google Sheets integration again.

    8. Now, select and connect your Google account.

    9. Select an option, and then choose your form fields.

    10. Click on Save, and that's it, you're done.
