Now, coming back to your question, this refers to the submissions that you have not read yet. If you open the Submission Table, these submissions will have a very light gray background, as seen in the screenshot below. I am not sure if it's visible, but that is how you can differentiate the read and unread submissions.

When you click on the submission, it will be marked as read, and it will update the counter on the My Form Page.
