ThomasHi there,
It sounds like you’ve set up your document using Jotform Sign, and by default, the form owner (your account) is automatically added as the first signer. That’s why it keeps showing “Pending my signature” even when you only want the other person to sign.
Here's what you can do:- Open your document in the Sign Builder.
- Click the Add Fields → Signer Roles panel on the right.
- You’ll see your username (Signer 1).
- Hover over your signer role and click the trash icon to delete it.
- Make sure only the other person’s signer role remains (e.g., “Client” or “Recipient”).
- Save and publish the document again.
Hope this helps!

CISMA_suscripcionesLamentablemente no es de ayuda porque el ícono de papelera no aparece sobre el rol "yo" pero si sobre el otro y todos los demás que cree como prueba
Alguna otra idea?

Christian Ice Jotform SupportHi CISMA_suscripciones,
Our Spanish Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Spanish, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.
Now, coming back to your question, you can share your Sign Document publicly in just a few easy steps. Let me show you how:
1. Open your document in Sign Builder, and then click on Send in the green navigation bar at the top of the page.
2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Share with Link.
3. Now, select the role that will start the signing flow from the Dropdown menu.
4. If there are multiple signers, enter their details and click on Create Link.

5. Then, click on Copy Link, and you're ready to share your document.
Now, when someone submits the document, it will automatically notify the other signers. You can also assign the first signer to enter the other signers instead of entering them manually each time. Let me walk you through it:- While in the Share With Link menu, hover your mouse over either the Name or Email input field, and click on the Signator icon that appears on the right side of the box.
- Select the role from the Dropdown menu, and click on Save. That’s it, you’re done.
Check out the screenshot below to see how the Other Signers are added:

CCISMA
Hi, sorry, but it seems that my request wasn’t understood in the translation. The problem is that two signers appear: “me” and “signer.” However, the document I’m trying to create is designed so that only “signer” should sign it. I’ve been trying and reaching out to you without success to remove the “me” profile.

Reymae Jotform SupportHi CISMA_suscripciones,
You can reassign all the fields assigned to the Me role to the dedicated signer. Once those fields are reassigned, you’ll no longer be included as one of the signers in the link. It's really easy to do. Let me show you how:
- In Sign Builder, click on your fields.
- Select the Signer as the Assigned Role.
Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.
