    Sehr geehrtes Jotform-Support-Team,

    Hi Niklas,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our German Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in German, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.

Now, coming back to your question, I'll need a bit of time to look into this. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Thanks for your patience, we appreciate it.

    Hi Niklas,

Loading the Jotform embed script via a cookie banner cookie banners can delay script execution until consent is provided, potentially disrupting the proper loading of Jotform scripts, especially on CMS platforms like ModX, which may have specific compatibility issues or restrictions. Also, Jotform scripts might depend on other resources or scripts that need to load first, and this dependency can be affected by cookie banner settings. Here are some insights and best practices:

    1. Load Scripts After Consent: Configure the cookie banner to load the Jotform script only after the user has provided consent. This ensures compliance with privacy regulations while allowing the script to function correctly.
    2. Use Alternative Embed Methods: Consider using iframe embed codes instead of JavaScript, as they are less likely to be affected by cookie banner delays.
    3. Test Compatibility: Thoroughly test the integration on your CMS platform to identify and resolve any conflicts or errors.
    4. Provide Clear Information: Inform users about the purpose of the Jotform script in your cookie banner to build trust and transparency.

You may refer to Jotform's embedding guide or cookie integration tips for detailed instructions.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
