    Hi,

My assignees can not access the form on the app - it does not show. It shows on their browser logins on their phones. The email addresses are the same for the app and browser. Why is it not showing in their assigned form page?

    Hi Ben,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Let me help you with that:

From the information available, here are the key points about assigned forms and access that you and your assignees should check:

    • Assignees must be logged into the correct Jotform account to see assigned forms. Assignees need to sign up for a Jotform account or log in to their existing account with the same email address that received the assignment invitation; otherwise, the form will not appear under their assigned forms.
    • Assigned forms are accessed from the “Assigned To Me / Assigned Forms” area, not from the owner’s My Forms list. On mobile, they should open the Jotform Mobile Forms app, tap All Forms at the top-left, then under Assigned To Me tap Assigned Forms and look for the form there.
    • Assignments are controlled from your side. In Form Builder, under Publish → Assign Form, you can see who the form is assigned to via the Assigned To button. This lets you confirm that the correct email address is actually listed as an assignee and that access has not been revoked.

Here’s how you can verify and manage the assignment from your account:

    1. Go to your form in Form Builder.
    2. Click on the Publish tab, then select Assign Form on the left.
    3. Click on Assigned To on the right side to open the assignee list and confirm that each assignee’s email is correct and still has access.

And here’s what your assignees should do in the Jotform Mobile Forms app:

    1. Open the Jotform Mobile Forms app and make sure they are logged in with the same email that was invited as an assignee.
    2. Tap All Forms at the top-left to open the side panel.
    3. Under Assigned To Me, tap Assigned Forms and look for the form there.

If after confirming the correct login and checking the Assigned Forms section the form still does not appear, please let us know what they see on the Assigned Forms screen (for example, a blank list or other forms only), and after we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi Ben,

Let me help you with that:

Based on the available information, assigned forms should appear in the Jotform Mobile Forms app under Assigned To Me → Assigned Forms, as long as:

    • The person is logged into a Jotform account.
    • They are using the same email/account that received the assign invitation.
    • The form is still listed for them under Assigned To on your side.

Since they see a completely blank list in the app but can open the form in the browser, please have them double-check these points in the app specifically:

First, confirm the correct account in the app

    1. Open the Jotform Mobile Forms app.
    2. Tap their profile/avatar or account section and check the email shown there is exactly the same one you used in Assign By Email.
    3. Log out and log back in with that same email if needed, then go again to Assigned To Me → Assigned Forms.

Then, confirm the assignment from your side

    1. Open the form in Form Builder.
    2. Click on Publish, then Assign Form.
    3. Click on Assigned To and make sure each assignee’s email is listed and not removed or changed.

If all of that is correct and they still see an empty Assigned Forms list in the app, please share a bit more detail so we can narrow it down:

    • Which mobile OS they are using (Android or iOS).
    • Whether any other assigned form appears for them in the app, or if all assigned forms are missing.
    • A screenshot of the Assigned Forms screen in the app and, if possible, of their browser view where the form opens.

After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi Ben,

Let me help you with that:

From the available information, there are details on how to access assigned forms and how they behave in the mobile app and on the web, but there is no specific information about an issue where no assigned forms appear in the Jotform Mobile Forms app while they are visible and accessible in the browser.

Because of that, there is no confirmed, documented cause or fix that I can share beyond what you have already checked (correct account, correct assignment, using the Assigned section). I do not have further information in the current resources to explain why the list is blank on iOS while the form works in the browser.

I don't know this information and our support team will handle your request.

Reach out again if you need any other help.

    Hi Ben,

Is this the form you're referring to? If so, I checked the form and saw that there are 5 email addresses assigned to it. Can you confirm if all five of them are not seeing the form in their app's Assigned to Me section? I recommend advising them to update their app to its latest version if they haven't yet.

Also, a screenshot of what they're seeing would be really helpful. Our guide on How to Post Screenshots to Our Help Center shows you how to take one. Alternatively, a short screen recording of the steps they're taking will help us pinpoint the issue. Loom, Google Drive, or Dropbox links all work fine.

As soon as we hear back from you, we can work on getting you a solution for this.

Hi, they downloaded the apps today. Its actually only 3 people but we have tried different emails for them. As i have said, they can see it on the browser version, just not in the app. I have asked them to delete the app and reinstall....
They are just seeing a blank section under assigned forms....

    Hi Ben,

Can you try to revoke the affected user you assigned to the form and assign it again? Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Publish.
    2. Then, in the Invite By Email section, click on the Avatar/Icon of the assigned user next to Shared with.
    3. Next, select the user you want to revoke and click on Revoke
    4. In the window that comes up, click on Yes, Delete

Once done, assign the form again to them and see how it goes. If the user is still unable to see their assigned forms in the Jotform Mobile app, A screenshot of what they’re seeing would be really helpful. Our guide on How to Post Screenshots to Our Help Center shows you how to take one.

Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.
