jaiveersingh1995Hi Team,
I have provided access to multiple people from my team to view Tables to take print outs. Is it possible that we hide some columns from these members? Is below the place to do so?
Thanks

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Jaiveer,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
Yes, you can hide columns in Tables. The place you showed is the right area for managing which columns are visible.
Here’s how to do it:
- Open the Columns or Manage columns option in Tables.
- Select the columns you want to show or hide.
- Click Update to save the changes.
Note: This changes what is visible in the table view. If you are sharing the table with team members, the available access role also affects what they can do in the table.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

jaiveersingh1995Would hiding columns here affect the PDF Editor Form in any way as some of of those columns would be used there?

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Jaiveer,
Hiding columns in Tables only changes what is visible in the table view for those members. It does not affect the form itself.
For the PDF Editor, I can confirm that Tables can send PDF submission reports through a PDF action button, but I can’t confirm from here whether hiding a column in Tables changes what appears in the PDF Editor output.
If those fields are needed in the PDF, the safest approach is to keep them available in the form data and only adjust the table view for the members who need print access.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Rahul JotForm SupportHi Jaiveer,
I tested this and can confirm that hiding columns in the Table view won’t affect the PDF Editor. It only changes how your data is displayed within the Table view itself. The PDF Editor will only be affected if you add or remove form fields in the Form Builder. You might also want to check out our help guide on How to Show or Hide Columns in Jotform Tables and How to Customize Your PDF Submission Report that you can check out.
