Billing: Non-profit discount not applied to current invoice

    Good Afternoon,

    I'm reaching regarding the non-profit discount that has not been applied to the impending invoice this year as has been in past years.

    Please let me know how I am able to obtain this discount.

    Hi Emily,

    We offer discounts for non-profit organizations. To obtain or renew your nonprofit discount, you’ll just need to reapply (or apply, if it hasn’t been done on this account) through our nonprofit page.

    Please follow these steps:

    • Go to this page: Apply for non-profit discount.
    • Scroll to the bottom and click the Apply Now button.
    • Fill out the application form with your organization’s details and upload your nonprofit documentation (e.g., IRS determination letter or equivalent in your country).
    • Submit the form and wait for approval; once approved, the 50% nonprofit discount will be applied to your account for future invoices.

    If you already applied in the past under a different email or account, let me know which Jotform username or billing email you’re using now so I can better point you in the right direction.

    Good Morning,


    I apologize I put in the backup email, the primary email is secondarytrips@lyceechigaho.org, this is a gold paid membership for the Lycee Francais de Chicago.


    The last charge was $250 paid by visa credit card under the name Sarah Whalen with the last four digits ending in 5773 paid on April 17th, 2025.


    I'm attempting ot make this years payment, but have not done so because the bill does not reflect the non-profit discount, historically associated with our account.

    I have checked the account related to the provided email, and you don't have a non-profit discount on it. The first time, you got a 50% discount for purchasing a yearly subscription, and for the second charge, you've upgraded from Bronze to Gold plan. It's possible that we had a promotion at the time and that you received a discount for the upgrade.

    Since we currently don't have discounts available, you charged the full price. To get a non-profit discount, you'll have to apply for it on this link. After our team reviews your application, they'll reach out to you.

    I don't quite understand why there is not a non-profit discount this year when it has been applied in the past? What ahs changed?


    Furthermore, this link is to sign up for a membership and apply a discount, but I already have an active membership and do not need to sign-up, I just need to assign a non-profit discount to my current membership.

    Hi Emily,

    The discount that you had applied on previous payments was not a non prfit discount. The discount you currently have is a one time offer that is applied only on the first payment. Every future payments are charged for the full price.

    To get a non-profit discount, open this page, click one of the plans you wish to apply for, and you'll be asked to fill out a form to confirm you are a non-profit user. Your plan won't change until our team review your application and until you give final confirmation.

    I applied for the non-profit discount yesterday, and I want to confirm it was received on your end.


    Additionally, how long does he approval process take, and what is the decrease in costs from$580?


    Furthermore, if I pay the outstanding $580 today am I able to get a refund once the non-profit application is approved?

    Hi Emily,

    I checked your account and can see that it is now currently tagged as a non-profit, so you can now upgrade using the non-profit discount. Upgrading your account is easy. Let me show you how:

    1. Log in to your Jotform account, go to the Pricing page, and click on Upgrade under the subscription plan you want.

    2. In the Choose Your Payment Schedule section, select Yearly or Monthly.

    3. Then, enter your billing details in the Billing details section.

    4. In the Choose your Payment Method section, select Credit/Debit Card or PayPal.

    5. If you choose Credit/Debit Card, you can enter your Credit/Debit Card information below the Credit/Debit Card option.

    6. Next, in the top-right corner of the page, in the Summary section, tick the box next to I’ve read and agree to the Terms of Service, and click on Pay.

Image-3But, if you select PayPal as the payment, a PayPal Payment window will open, where you can log in and complete your payment after clicking on the Pay with PayPal button. Check out this screenshot below:
