Sharie_SmithThanks for the information! I have another question about submissions. On 3/14 I received an email stating that we would exceed our submission limit on 3/16. However, when I filter our form dates there are only 5,591 submissions which isn't near the 10,000 limit. Can you help me understand the discrepancy and let me know if I should be viewing my usage a different way?

Eduardo_CaHi Sharie,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You are asking why the submissions warning email appeared even though your filtered form dates show 5,591 submissions.
Submissions are counted account-wide for the monthly usage limit, not just by looking at one form or one filtered date view. A submission is counted when an entry is successfully created, and that entries created via Import Data are also considered submissions.
The usage page along with your monthly reset date is the best place to check this. Checking your account's monthly reset date is quick and easy. Here’s a quick how-to:
1. On your Workspace page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image in the top-right corner of the screen.
2. In the Dropdown menu that opens, click on Settings.

3. Then, click on the Usage tab on the left side of the page.
4. Now, in the Monthly Usage section, you can view your real-time usage data along with the date your monthly limit will reset.
That’s it. Reach out again if you have any other questions. -
Sharie_SmithHi,
Thanks for your quick response.
Will you let me know the best way to find our submissions for previous months? The usage tab only shows the current month and I'm curious about our historical usage. I asked your chatbot this question and was instructed to filter the submissions by the date range which is what I sent in the screenshot.
We only have one form and have not imported any data. Will you pleas help me understand what was being counted toward our submissions during the timeframe that I received the alert that we we're near exceeding our limit?
Thanks!

Eduardo_CaHi Sharie,
Unfortunately, a separate historical usage report for previous months is not available. I recommend keeping track of your submissions this month so you can monitor how you’re using your submission limit. Sharie_SmithHi,
Thank you for sharing the video—it was really helpful. In the section about total usage, she mentioned that when you go over your submission limit, the oldest submissions are deleted to make room for new ones.
Just to clarify, does the same thing happen with monthly usage? If we surpass our monthly submission limit, will new submissions keep coming in while the older submissions from that month are removed?

Jerlan JotForm SupportHi Sharie,
For the monthly submission limit, when you reach or surpass this limit, your forms will be disabled and will no longer accept new submissions until your monthly usage resets or you upgrade your account to increase your limits. The monthly submission limit does not delete older submissions to make room for new ones; instead, it stops new submissions from coming in once the limit is reached.
You can always monitor your usage and limits on your Account Usage page, where you can see your real-time usage and the date your monthly limits reset.
