    Hi Lesther,

I want a chatbot that will read each question in the form to the user, and when the user responds with voice the chatbot will fill out that question.

This does not do that unless there is some other setting I need to use. It just pops up with greeting message and sits there waiting for someone to type a question. I want a voice interaction where AI reads each question and records each answer. Someone did that above and I can't mimic whatever they did.

    thanks!

    Hi Stacey_Altieri,

You can easily enable the Voice option on your AI Agent. Let me show you how:

    1. In AI Agent Builder, click on the Gear icon on the right side of the page to open the Standalone Settings.
    2. Next, in the menu that opens on the right side of the page, toggle on Voice

    1. In AI Agent Builder, in the blue navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Train.

    2. Then, in the Knowledge Base section, select Link.

    3. Next, enter the URL of the website where you want the AI Agent to get the information from, and click on Crawl.

    4. Select the links that you want your AI Agent to extract information from, and click on Save.

Image-4Keep in mind that there is a limit of 10 URLs the AI Agent can scan at a time. If you have more than one URL on your website, you can repeat this process, and select the unselected URLs in your previous set-up. Also, remember that your AI Agent can only extract information from publicly available URLs. You can also check our guide about How to Train an AI Agent with URLs to learn more.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi,

I don't want any URLs; I want the agent to read the questions for the Jotform form, and then listen to users response and add their response as text.

That seems super useful and intuitive to me. But I can't make it happen. I need some steps to do this. I don't want to add any URL I want the agent who is IN the form to read the questions that are also IN the form.

    Can I do that?

    thanks!

    Hi Stacey,

I saw that you want your AI agent to ask the user with the questions in your form. You can connect your form to your AI agent to allow it to ask user with the questions in it. Let me show you how to do it:

    1. In AI Agent Builder, click on Train in the blue navigation bar at the top of the screen.
    2. Then, click on Form on the left side of the page.
    3. Next, click on Add New Form on the upper part of the page.

    4. In Select Form section, select your preferred form, and click on Add under it.

That's it. Can you test your AI agent to see if it's going to work properly?

As soon as we hear back from you, we can work on getting you a solution for this.

    Hi Gian_D,

Yes I have my form attached to the AI Agent. It still seems that there are many other options I need to set for this to work. I also notice that if the form has any type of tiny complexity to it, for example some conditional fields that are shown only if the user selects a number greater than zero (how many youth did you speak with?) and they answer 1-5, if the user only want to fill out two of the five following questions I can't get the bot to understand to stop asking the next questions. I tried to teach it but this just seems too complicated.

Do you happen to have an AI Agent (aka Chatbot? Are they different or the same) who could help me, or do I need to be an enterprise client to get extended help?

    thanks

    Stace

(if you log into my account I'm trying to get the Progress Log 2026 form to work with an AI agent who can fill in the fields. I would be happy with a hybrid where user fills in drop lists and radio buttons and AI listens and types in values from text fields.

    Hi Stacey,

Note that the AI Agent is can be connected to your form and have its content and may not fully interpret complex conditional logic or recommendations set within the form. But, you can train your AI Agent so it can give a recommendation. You can easily set your AI Agent to say an exact message or to answer using a Knowledge Base content. Let me show you how:

    1. In Agent Builder, in the blue navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Train.

    2. Then, in the menu on the left side of the page, click on Actions.

    3. Set up the Actions like you see below and click on Save:

    Hello,

I'm sorry but I still cannot get the help I need. The above is just a form response absent of helpful information.

I have a yes/no question. I want to teach the bot (for starters) that if for this specific question the user response is "no" then the AI agent should move down to question 31 and continue to fill the form from there.

I cannot find any way to do this. All of the training actions are in response to users asking questions. I want to set conditions for the AI agent to complete based 100% on my questions in the form that the agent is filling out for the user.

If somebody can tell me how to set these types of conditions for the AI that we can set for the actual forms I would be forever grateful.

If this is not currently possible also please tell me this. I've been trying to figure this out for three weeks and simply can't do it. The catch seems to be "form questions" vs "user" questions. I don't want a conversation with a user. I want an agent to read the question and record the answer, and take appropriate action for yes/no and multiple choice answers.

Thanks in advance to anybody who can help me do this. Please don't bother to just give me surface instructions that are already obvious thanks!

    Hi Stacey,

Currently, it is not possible to apply standard Skip Logic or Conditional Logic directly to the AI Agent's behavior while it is filling out a form. There is a technical distinction in how the AI Agent operates compared to our traditional forms.

The AI operate on a conversational LLM or Large Language Model logic. The Agent sees all the fields it has been given access to in its Training or Instructions. It doesn't skip fields in the traditional sense; it simply tries to gather the information required to satisfy the form fields it knows about.

Since what you are looking for—hard-coded Conditional Logic for AI Agents—is a highly requested feature, I have escalated this to our Developer Team as a feature request. While we cannot provide an ETA or guarantee implementation, we will notify you here as soon as any updates are available.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
