ibakrHi, I have this form: Performance Review Form - Distribution Center - 2026 and want to download a PDF file for the form when it is empty. How can I do that?
Also, I want to know as an Admin, how can I download the filled forms after deactivating the forms as PDF for each employee entry?
Best regards
Islam Bakr

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Islam,
You can do both of these in Jotform pretty easily.
To download an empty PDF version of your form (fillable PDF):
- Open your form in Form Builder.
- Click Publish on the orange bar at the top.
- On the left panel, click the PDF tab.
- Click the Download button.
- You’ll be taken to PDF Editor; there, click the Download button at the upper-right to save the PDF to your device.
- For more details, you can check this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/312-jotform-fillable-pdf-creator-with-all-points/
For downloading filled forms as PDFs for each employee after the form is deactivated:
- Deactivating (disabling) a form does not remove existing submissions, so you can still download them.
- Go to your form’s Submissions Table (from My Forms > select your form > Submissions or Tables).
- In the table, select the submission(s) you want (each employee entry).
- Click the Download button and choose Download as PDF (or a similar PDF option) to get a separate PDF file for each selected submission.
If you’d like, tell me whether you’re using the classic or card layout, and I can tailor the steps more specifically to your view.

ibakrHi Team
I followed your instructions, and this is what I got when I clicked on the download. So I cancelled the step because I am worried about changing anything in the form or setup. appreciate your guidance

BrandonHi Islam,
I'd be happy to help with your question. I completely understand your hesitation when that warning message pops up. That said, all the message is saying is that editing the form within the PDF editor will result in changes to the form. As long as you don't change anything within the PDF, your form will not change either. If you just want to print out an empty PDF version of the form you can click "continue" when that warning pops up and then click "download" in the upper right.Try that out and let us know if you have any questions.
