I just got a warning about reaching my upload space limit. the warning threatened to shut down my forms on Tuesday. I delete any uploaded files as soon as I import my data. When I view my uploaded files, it looks to me like I have 0 stored. Am I missing something?

    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

You mentioned receiving a warning about reaching your upload space limit and a threat to shut down your forms, even though you see 0 stored uploaded files. According to your account status, you are currently on the Free Plan and have reached your account's form count limits, which can also affect your form functionality.

Let me help you with that:

    1. Understand your current limits: The Free Plan has restrictions on the number of forms, submissions, and upload space.
    2. Upgrade your plan: Upgrading to a paid plan increases your storage and usage limits, allowing more submissions, upload space, form views, and other benefits.
    3. How to upgrade: Go to the Jotform Features and Pricing page, select the plan you want, and click Upgrade. Follow the payment steps to complete the upgrade. Your limits will increase immediately after upgrading.

Upgrading will help prevent your forms from being shut down due to limits and provide you with more storage and form capacity.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

It does not appear that I am close to my limits (with the exception of the number of forms limit, which does not change.)

Is the 100 submission limit in a calendar month?

Is there a time period on the 100 MB upload space limit? If I delete files as they come in, is that space freed up for more uploads?

    Hi,

Regarding your questions about the Free Plan limits:

    • The 100 submissions limit is a total limit, not reset monthly. Once you reach 100 submissions, you will need to upgrade to continue receiving more submissions.
    • The 100 MB upload space limit is a total storage limit for your account. It does not reset over time.
    • If you delete uploaded files, the space they occupied is freed up and becomes available for new uploads.

Since you mentioned your forms are working fine and you have deleted files, your upload space should reflect the freed space. However, if you received a warning about reaching upload space, it might be related to other factors such as cached files or account limits.

Upgrading your plan will increase these limits and help avoid any interruptions.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

You reported that I currently have 20 MB of used upload space. When I look at my forms, I don't have any saved uploads. Where can I see and delete the 20 MB of stored upload files?

    Hi,

If you see 20 MB of used upload space but no saved uploads in your forms, the stored upload files may be in your account's file storage even if they are not visible directly in the forms.

To view and delete these stored uploaded files, you can check the following:

    1. Go to your Jotform account's My Files or Uploads section: This is where uploaded files from your forms are stored.
    2. Look for any files associated with your forms: Sometimes files may remain stored even if deleted from the form submissions.
    3. Delete any unnecessary files: Removing these files will free up your upload space.

If you cannot locate the stored files or the upload space usage does not update after deletion, it might be helpful to clear your browser cache or log out and back into your account to refresh the storage status.

Upgrading your plan will also increase your upload space limits and help prevent interruptions.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi jwustman,

The uploads are coming from your Form 468 Spag restaurant and Form 115 ABM parking. You can delete and purge submissions to free up space on your account in just a few steps. Let me first show you how to delete a submission:

    1. In Jotform Tables, select the submission you want to delete.
    2. Next, click on Delete at the top right side of the Tables page
    3. Now, in the Confirmation window that opens, click on Move to Trash

Before deleting, make sure to download the submission first so you have a backup copy. Deleting submissions won’t free up space on your account, and they can be recovered within 30 days. After 30 days, they will be permanently removed. To free up space on your account, you can purge the submissions. Let me show you how:

    1. In Jotform Tables, click on the Three Dots icon next to your form title in the tabs.
    2. Then, click on Trashed Entries.
    3. Next, in the window that opens on the right side of the page, select the submission you want to delete, and then click on Delete Forever.
    4. Now, in the Confirmation window that opens, click on Delete.

If your account upload limit is still showing as over the limit, it is also recommended to clear the form cache after purging the data. I separated your question about the 100 submission limit into a new thread so we can focus on it properly. You can view and follow it here.

Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.
