digitalstrategyI would like to know how to display the "Member Sharing" and "Professional Article" short text field selections in the Inbox and Table views of the below two JotForms. Currently, these selections are not being displayed, and therefore, are also not included in exports. Thanks!

Podo: Support SpecialistHi digitalstrategy,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
Let me help you with that:
To display the "Member Sharing" and "Professional Article" short text field selections in the Inbox and Table views of your Jotforms, and to include them in exports, you need to adjust the settings in Jotform Inbox and Tables as follows:
- Access Jotform Inbox: Go to your Workspace, click on your form, and then click the Inbox button on the right side of the page.
- Configure Inbox Settings: In Inbox, click the three dots icon at the tab named Inbox and select Inbox Settings. Under the Fields tab, uncheck "Hide empty form fields" and make sure the checkboxes for "Member Sharing" and "Professional Article" fields are checked in the Show/Hide Fields section.
- Adjust Table View: In your Workspace, hover over the form, click More, then Submissions. In the Submissions Table, click the three dots icon next to the main tab name, hover over Change Type, and select Table view. Use the Fields Dropdown menu to select and include the "Member Sharing" and "Professional Article" fields in the view.
- Exporting Data: When downloading submissions from Inbox, you can choose CSV, Excel, or PDF formats, and the selected fields will be included in the export.
This will ensure that those short text field selections are visible in both Inbox and Table views and included in your exports.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Gian_D JotForm SupportHi digitalstrategy,
I saw that your Short Text fields aren't being displayed on your Inbox and Tables. I've cloned your form and tested it to see if I can replicate the issue on my end, but it is working properly. Check out the screenshot below:
As you can see, the Short Text field that you've mentioned is visible on the Tables of the clone version of your form. Make sure that your Short Text column is visible on your Tables. Let me show you how to do it:
1. In Tables, click on Columns and AI on the upper right side of the page.
2. Tick the checkbox of your Short Text field in the menu that opens. That's it. As for your Inbox, I saw that the Short Text field is also visible on it. Check out the screenshot below:
Can you try using a different browser or device to see if it's going to work?
As soon as we hear back from you, we can work on getting you a solution for this.
-
digitalstrategyHi Gian,
Sorry for not specifying before. If you scroll over (in the table) or down (in the inbox) you will see that only the first (or first two) submissions capture the "Professional Article" or "Member Sharing" short text field response.
-
Myla_THi digitalstrategy,
If you can send us a short screen recording of the steps you’re taking, it’ll help us pinpoint the issue. Loom, Google Drive, or Dropbox links all work fine.
Once we hear back from you, we can get moving on a solution.

Ronald JotForm SupportHi digitalstrategy,
Let me take a look at this for you. To do that, we’ll need your permission to access your account. Don’t worry, you can turn it off again once we’re done. Let me show you how to do it:
1. In the top-right corner of your Workspace page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image icon.
2. Then, in the Dropdown menu that opens, click on Settings.

3. Next, in the panel on the left, click on the Security tab.
4. If you haven’t opened your Security page in a while, it’ll ask you to verify. To do that, click on Send Verification Code.

5. Then, enter the Verification Code you receive in your email.

6. Finally, at the bottom of the page, toggle on Jotform Support Access.
After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help. -

Kyle JotForm SupportHi Scot,
I checked your form’s conditions, Inbox, and Submission Table, and confirmed that the Member Sharing values are being copied into another field through an Update/Calculate Field condition. Since there are about 80 Member Sharing fields, only the first one (1 Help and Hope) appears in the initial set of columns before scrolling, which explains why it looks aligned in the Inbox and Table views.
This behavior is expected based on how the conditions are set up. The values are present, but they’re displayed in different columns depending on the field mapping. Check out my screenshots below to see the results:
Update/Calcualte Field Condition:
Jotform Inbox:
Submission Table:
For the Professional Article field, I couldn’t locate a direct reference tied to Inbox/Table since there are no conditions set for it. Mind grabbing a screenshot of Profession Article field? Our guide on How to Post Screenshots to Our Help Center shows you how.
Reach out anytime if you've got more questions.

digitalstrategyHi Kyle,
Here is a screen recording that I am hoping conveys the inconsistency in what information is pulled over from the submissions to the inbox and table views. It is very important for our data collection purposes that we understand which score is associated with which member sharing. Thank you for taking a look at the recording and giving your feedback on how to ensure the member sharing populates in a column within the inbox and table views.

Jeric_THi Scot,
I noticed that you also have a Skip to Page condition. Can you change your form settings, specifically Clear Hidden Field Values, to Don't clear. Let me show you how:
1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
2. Click on Form Settings on the left side of the screen.
3. Next, click on Show More Options below
4. Finally, set Clear Hidden Field Values to Don't Clear.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
-
digitalstrategyHi Jeric,
I updated the setting as you suggested. The inbox and table views remain the same; the member sharing selection was not populated.

Joeni JotForm SupportHi Scot,
I cloned your form to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything is working as expected. Take a look at the screencast below. Submission Table:
Inbox: Since both of your forms use a Skip To/Hide a Page condition, the Member Sharings and Professional Article fields will only populate on the page that’s currently displayed. Could you give it another try?Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
