Return to main page after submitting a form

I have a embedded jotform on my homepage. After a click on a button, a lightbox opens with the form in it. Is it possible to implement a function, that when the user submits the form, the lightbox closes and he automatically returns to the mainpage?

You should use the "Redirect to external link" option on the Thank you page of your form. This will allow you to redirect your respondents to your homepage. You can check and follow this guide:
