    Hi Nancy,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Regarding your issue with the Jotform translator not working for conditional settings and the 3 columns not translating to Spanish, there is no specific information in the knowledge base addressing this exact issue.

However, Jotform supports multiple languages including Spanish, and you can set your preferred language in your account settings or make your forms multilingual. The translator might not automatically apply to conditional settings or certain form elements like columns.

If you are experiencing that conditional settings or specific columns are not translating, it may require manual translation or checking the multilingual setup of your form.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Reymae,

The issue is under the children's information section. The words, Gender, Child interest, School Child Attends do not translate.

Below is the link you requested.

    Hi Nancy,

The reason those fields under the Children’s Information section aren’t being translated is that they aren’t recognized as standard form fields. This happens because the field type wasn’t defined in your Configurable List widget. To fix this, simply specify each as a text field in your widget’s configuration, like this:Configurable List Field Labels Are Not Translated Image 1 Screenshot 50

Once you’ve done that, you’ll be able to manually translate the field labels through the translation settings. It's easy to translate an existing form into another language. Let me walk you through it:

    1. Open your form in Form Builder, and in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.

    2. Click on the Show More Options button, scroll down to the Form Languages section, and click on the Edit button.

    3. In the Form Language option, click on the Downward Arrow icon and select your form's main language.

    4. Once you select it, you'll see the Translations section. Click on the Add Language button, and select the language to be translated to show users.

    5. Click on the Add button under the dropdown menu, and translate the fields that haven't been automatically translated into the target language.

    6. Then, click on the Form Warnings tab to see/edit any untranslated fields. And here you can edit the translated fields too. It'll be automatically saved when you add or edit any text.
