    Hi Dean,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

Currently, Jotform does not have a built-in option to change the default date format globally based on location such as Australia. The date field defaults to the US format, which can cause confusion for users outside the US.

However, you can customize the date field format manually in your form settings to match the Australian date format (DD/MM/YYYY) to reduce confusion for your users.

If you need guidance on how to change the date format in your form fields, I can help with that.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Best regards,
    Jotform Support

    Hi Dean,

I see that your request was already escalated by my colleague, Jeric to our Developers on this thread. When or if it's implemented depends on our Developer's workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to the other thread and let you know.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.
