Download submissions as Jotform generated PDFs

    Hi,

    Trying to download form submission as PDF's from my Self-Assessment and Manager/Colleague Evaluation jotforms. When I do, it is populating results in the original PDF I uploaded when i built it as a smart form. But I actually just want the results to download into a normal Jotform. (similar to how my Candid Opinion results came through. I tried to toggle the setting about using SMART PDF to off but that didn't work. Are you able to help?

    To download your form submissions as normal Jotform PDFs instead of the original Smart PDF, you can use the PDF Editor to download submission PDFs. Here’s how to do it:

    1. Go to More and select Open PDF Editor for your form.
    2. Click the Download button at the top-right in PDF Editor.
    3. If your form has multiple submissions, choose whether to download a single submission or all submissions as Submission PDFs.

    This method downloads the submission data in a standard Jotform PDF format rather than the original uploaded Smart PDF.

    Hi Lauren,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand that you want to download your submissions as the usual PDF and not as the original PDF populated with data. Doing that is easy. Let me show you how:

    1. In Smart PDF Forms, click on the arrow near the text "Smart PDF Forms" to open the app picker menu and choose PDF Editor.

    2. In the PDF Editor, you can customize your PDF and download it by clicking on Download located at the top-right part of the page.

    3. If you want to create different versions of your PDF, you can do that by clicking on New PDF.

    4. Additionally, you can then go to Tables by clicking on the arrow near the text "Smart PDF Forms" and choosing Tables.

    5. Lastly, click on Download All and choose the custom PDF we've created.
