Good afternoon. I have created an app with a product list, within Jotform however, I do not see an option to add shipping fees. How do I add shipping for my products?

    Hi Jen,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Let me help you with that:

To add shipping fees to your products in your Jotform app, follow these steps:

    1. Open Payment Settings: In Form Builder, click the wand icon on your payment element.
    2. Go to Shipping Tab: Toggle the "Enable Shipping" option to Yes.
    3. Select Charge Basis: Choose either "Per Product Item" to charge shipping per item or "Per Transaction (Flat Rate)" to charge a fixed shipping fee regardless of items.

The form will then automatically calculate and display the shipping fee based on your setup.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Jen,

You can't add a shipping fee on the product list element of the Jotform App. You can't also make a product as a default selection on the app, if supposed you'll be adding the shipping fee as one of the products. As a workaround, you can create your payment form on a regular form and add the form in the app. Let me show you how to add a shipping fee in Form Builder:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Push Cart icon of the Payment field.
    2. From the Shipping tab, toggle Enable Shipping. Jotform App: I cant see an option to add a shipping fee in the App Image 1 Screenshot 60
    3. Select your preferred Charge Basis.
    4. Enter your preferred Flat Charge Rate. Jotform App: I cant see an option to add a shipping fee in the App Image 2 Screenshot 71

    Here's the result:

Jotform App: I cant see an option to add a shipping fee in the App Image 3 Screenshot 82Now, let me show you how to add the form in Jotform App:

    1. In App Builder, click on Add Element on the left side of the page.
    2. From the Basic tab, select Form.
    3. Select your payment form and click on Add Form. Jotform App: I cant see an option to add a shipping fee in the App Image 4 Screenshot 93

    Hi Jen,

You need to create a form first by clicking on the Create button on your My Forms page. Let me show you how to do this:

    1. On your My Forms page, click on Create on the upper right side of the page.
    2. Select Start from scratch.
    3. Select Classic Form. Jotform App: I cant see an option to add a shipping fee in the App Image 1 Screenshot 50

You'll be redirected to the Form Builder. From there, you can now create your payment form. Let me show you how to do this:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Add Element on the left side of the page.
    2. From the Payments tab, select your preferred payment gateway. I saw in your app that you're using PayPal, so select PayPal. Jotform App: I cant see an option to add a shipping fee in the App Image 2 Screenshot 61
    3. Click on the Push Cart icon of the Payment field.
    4. Click on Create a product and set up your products.
    5. Once done, click on Save at the bottom of the page. Jotform App: I cant see an option to add a shipping fee in the App Image 3 Screenshot 72
    6. Click on the Credit Card icon of the Payment field.
    7. Click on the Plug in icon of the Payment Connection on the upper right side of the page and connect your PayPal account.Jotform App: I cant see an option to add a shipping fee in the App Image 4 Screenshot 83

Just following up again.  Do I need to create this form and rebuild my entire app?Sent from my iPhone…Jen Clark, Metabolic Health Professional https://msha.ke/jenclark/JEEP   ○|||||||○   OwnerProviding Custom Ducks…- Peep My Ducks LLChttps://www.facebook.com/share/g/16SshjDXXU/?mibextid=wwXIfrColor Me 3Dhttps://www.facebook.com/share/16VjkthQJE/?mibextid=wwXIfrOn Jun 17, 2025, at 9:49 PM, Jotform <noreply@jotform.com> wrote:

    Hi jasonreamsma,

Since it’s not currently possible to add a shipping cost directly in the Store Builder within the App Builder, a workaround is to create a regular form that includes the shipping cost, then add that form to your app. You can follow the steps shared by my colleague here to set it up.

While the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

This is driving me crazy. I've created a whole "store" via the app along with products in my store, but it wont give me the shipping option. Now you're saying we have to create a separate form with a whole new product line in order to get access to add shipping? Makes zero sense.

    Hi alg0102alg,

Currently, the Jotform App’s Store Builder doesn't support shipping fee configuration directly. That's why the current workaround is to build a standalone order form in the Form Builder (where shipping options are supported), and then embed that form into your app.

You're right, rebuilding product listings just to access shipping settings isn’t ideal. We've already raised this as a feature request to our Developer team, noting how important this is for users like you building full stores. While we can’t provide a specific timeline, you’ll be updated here if shipping support is added directly within the app interface.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
