We have a custom autonumber field on Contact that we would like to be able to use in our forms to match contacts. The field will already be populated, since the contacts will exist already. I don't see a way to map the autonumber field in the form. Is there a way to do this?

    Hi Kathie,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can prepopulate fields within the same form or pass on field values from one field to another on the same form. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.

    2. Click on Conditions on the left side of the screen.

    3. Click on Add conditions button and select Update/Calculate Field.

    4. On the next page, enter the following values like shown below:

    5. Once you entered all the values, click on Save button.

That's it. The values that you will input on the Phone Number section will already prepopulate the Contact field. We also have a guide about How to Pass a Field Value to Another Field that you can check out.

Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.
