    Hi,

Please assist and advise. The Form Calculation Widget was working fine but stopped working now.

    10. Reason for Debt (divided by) over X-months = working

11.Reason for Debt (divided by) over X-months = NOT working

    Hi FPG,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If I understood you correctly, you are talking about ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF DEBT (AOD) form. If this is the case, I've reviewed the form and found that the formula hasn't configured correctly. You can add the number field and then add the condition to calculate the monthly value. Let me show you how:

    1. While in Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.

    2. Under the Basic tab, scroll down the list and choose the Number field.

    3. Now, just drag and drop it to your form.

    4. In Form builder, select Settings at the top.

    5. In the menu that opens on the left side of the page, click on Conditions.

    6. Click on + Add condition and choose Update/Calculate field.

    7. Set condition as below:

    • When 10. Reason for Debt (divided by) is filled

    • When 11. Reason for Debt (divided by) is equal to (AD-HOC Uniform/Cash Shortage/Stock Shortage/Damages/Leftovers or OTHER)

    Result

Additionally, during investigation I found, you haven't set any value for Debt Amount full when 11. The reason for Debt is one of the following option:

    1. AD-HOC Uniform
    2. Cash Shortage
    3. Stock Shortage
    4. Damages
    5. Leftovers
    6. OTHER

You can set the value similar way you have set for top 3 reason and give it a try. We also have a guide about How to Insert Text or Calculation Into a Field Conditionally that you can check out.

Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.

    Hi,

I decided to re-do all my conditions as indicated above.

Previewed my form to test it all, but now the "Reason for Debt" is just not showing on my form (when in preview mode). It is not hidden, and my conditions are all based on the reason for debt..

    please help

    Hi FPG,

I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, and I ran into the same issue. When I looked at your form, I saw that there is condition is configured to hide Reason for Debt field. Let me show you how to fix it:

    1. In Form builder, select the Reason for Debt field and click on Conditions icon.
    2. Click on All Types and choose Show/Hide field.
    3. Hover your mouse over condition to set to Show Reason for Debt.
    4. Click on Gear icon and choose Disable.

Thanks a Mill, that worked. Tried to test and do a preview, but now I am experiencing the same issue with below fields just not showing .... (Based on "Reason for Debt selected"), and then as per consition, doing the calculation of value (divided by) number of months

    Hi FPG,

When I cloned and tested your form, everything worked the way it was supposed to. Take a look at the screenshot below to see my results:

If you want the Form Calculation widget to become visible, you just need to toggle OFF the Hide Field option. Let me show you how:

On your Form Builder, click on the Form Calculation Widget and click on the Advanced tab.

Toggle OFF the Hide Field option.

Can you go ahead and try it again and let us know how it goes? If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?

After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

    Hi,

so the sections of "hereby authorizes FPG Foods (Pty) Ltd. to deduct from my salary the value of xxxx (This has a condition of AMOUNT FULL (Divided by) NR OF MONTHS SELECTED.)

IS HIDDEN, because either one must pop up based on the reasons selected.

However, if I select any one of the reasons, none of the below is showing

    Hope I make more sense
