Everyday my staff must track 15+ kids coming into their classroom at one time. We also need to do a daily health check and check if they ate a snack. Then at the end of the day, we have to sign them out. Doing this in a table would be much easier.
Is it possible that every day the table refreshes the information EXCEPT the names while storing the past days information?

Hi Jillian,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If I understand you want to submit the daily health check of each student, then update those submissions when they sign out at the end of the day. Is that right? If so, then you can add an autoresponder email with an edit link on your form, so your staff can access that edit link to sign out the students at the end of the day. I cloned your form and applied the changes to it. Check out the screencast below:
As you can see, the staff can edit the submission to add the dismissal time on it. You can clone my demo form to make things easier, or you can do it on your end. Let me show you how to do it:
1. In Form Builder, click on Add Form Element on the upper left side of the page.
2. Drag and drop an Email field on your form.
Now, let's add an autoresponder email to your form:
1. Click on Settings in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen.
2. In the menu that opens on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
3. Click on Add Email.4. Click on Autoresponder Email.
5. Click inside your Email Content.
6. Click on Form Fields.
7. Click on Edit Link.8. Click on Save.
That's it. Let us know if you have any other questions.

This very time consuming for educators to fill out a form for each student. To type in names then to go back and do it again. It is not simplifying the process at all.
Is there a way to use tables to do this?

Hi Jillian,
You can edit the submission directly on your Jotform table page. Let me show you how:
- In your Jotform table, select an entry by ticking the checkbox beside it.
- After that, click the three vertical-dot icon on the right side of your page.
- In the dropdown, select the Edit Entry. It will then show a window to allow you to edit the submission.
You can also edit the column's value in your table by double-clicking the specific cell and changing its value.
You can also check out this guide on How to Edit Submissions to Your Forms.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
