I would like to change the multiple choice option to a single typed response within an application. Also, is it possible to certain fields a requirement based on the response of a previous question?

Hi SiafuEnterprisesInc,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I cloned your form and checked the field showing in your attached screenshot and it's a Dropdown field not a Multiple Choice element. Just to make sure that I understood what you're asking, you want a Single Choice option in your application, right? If that's what you need, you can add Single Choice field in your form. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click the Add Form Element +.
- Under Basic tab, scroll down then add or drag Single Choice field in your form.
But, if you want the responder to type their answer you can add Short Text element in your form instead.
If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better? Also, it's possible to certain fields a requirement based on the response to a previous question. Check out our guide explaining How to Use Conditional Logic for More Efficient Forms.
