While using a prefill and sending email with prefill fields, the user is being asked to login to view their submission, how to skip the login?

    Hi QCUL,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Please note that Prefilled URLs don't require the users to log in or create a Jotform account. But if you assigned the prefilled form to a user, then it will require them to login to their Jotform account or create one. This is to ensure that only the person to whom you assigned the form can access it.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

But I do not want to assign the form and

this form is open to public so that everyone can respond and follow the update request email and edit their submission.

    Hi QCUL,

Can you share with us the form's link or URL in question so we can check it on our end? Also, what prefill option did you use on the form? Can you give us more details on what the prefill is for and how does it work for the intended form users to fill it out with?

After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

Here is the form, I trying different things, but the ideal option would be to complete the prefill by the user https://form.jotform.com/242465508085056

    Hello QCUL,

I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly and did not ask me to log-in. Check out the screencast below to see my results: Prefill Link Asking for Login to View Submission Image 1 Screenshot 30 Just to clarify, as long as you're only sharing a link (and not assigning the form to specific users), they shouldn't be asked to log in. URLs are meant to be publicly accessible, so no login is needed unless it's assigned. It seems like the issue might be with how the form is being shared. If you're assigning the form by mistake or using some settings that make it more private, that's when the form starts asking for a login. Double-check that you’re sharing the prefilled form link directly and not assigning it.

But, if you want to see how to unrequire log-in for viewing submissions, you can go to your Account Security Settings and uncheck 'Require log-in to see submissions'.

Prefill Link Asking for Login to View Submission Image 2 Screenshot 41 Also, you mentioned that people need to be able to edit their submissions after they've submitted the form. To do that without a login prompt, you'll want to enable the 'edit submission' option in the email settings. This way, they'll get an email with a link to edit their submission, and they won’t need to log in for that either. To avoid confusion, I moved the instructions for setting up the edit link to a new thread and provided them to you there.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.
