How to embed same app template to my website?

    Hello,

I am using the Art Selling App within my website as a purchase order form for wholesale customers. I do not collect payment on this app form and it is password protected. I also sell directly to retail customers in a different section and would like to use this same app for retail sales (and also collect payments). Can I use this same app template to imbed within my site SEPARATE from the wholesale version, (will they each have a dedicated link?) or do they both automatically merge, so that wholesale and retail are shown on the same page? I thought I'd ask before adding all the products. Thanks for your help!

    Hello Laura,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Yes, you can embed the other app to the other pages of your website but please note that the submission will be associated only with one app or table. It’s easy to get the code that you can use to embed your App. Let me show you how:

    1. In the App Builder, click on the Publish tab.

    2. Select Embed from the left side menu.

    3. Lastly, copy the iframe embed code.

    Hello again,

I'm not sure if I explained my question correctly.

I would like to use the art selling app to be embedded into 2 different sections of my website (Wholesale and Retail). However, I don't want the retail buyers to be able to even see (or access) the Wholesale section. Can I put a password protected section into the app? Or can I create two separate Art Selling apps within my website (one for wholesale and one for retail) If I embed the two apps into different sections of my website (I can create a password protected section in my website builder) will they remain separate to the viewer/customer so that the wholesale items and retail items aren't shown on the same page. (they are sold at different prices. I don't offer the wholesale prices to retail customers)

If this doesn't work, can I use a completely different app template to embed?

    Thank you for your assistance

    Hi Laura,

You can definitely embed the same app template in different sections of your website for wholesale and retail customers. You need to create two separate versions of the Art Selling App: one for wholesale and one for retail. Embed each version in the respective sections of your website. This way, they will have dedicated links and remain separate from each other.

If you prefer to use the same app, you can create password-protected sections within your website builder for the wholesale section. Embed the app in both sections, but ensure the wholesale section is only accessible with a password.

If the above options don’t work for you, you can use a completely different app template for retail sales and embed it separately. This way, you can manage both wholesale and retail sales efficiently without merging them on the same page.
