Jotform Sign: Add a payment field

I cannot locate other elements to add to a form until forms builder. All I have is a basic tab. Specifcally I need to know how to add a payment field element

Thank you for reaching out to Jotform Support. It looks like you are trying to collect payments in your sign document. Please note that collecting credit card information in plain text fields is a violation of our terms of service. This may lead to account suspension.

Due to our PCI certification, we are required to deny the collection of credit card details on regular forms. But, you can choose from these payment processors available on our platform and integrate them into your forms. You still won't be able to collect credit card details directly, though. If you also need to charge the customer at a later date, then you can enable payment authorization.

However, payment processors or payment integrations are not available in Jotform Sign. What you can do is create a Smart PDF form so that you can collect payments through a payment integration. Jotform makes it easy to integrate your PDF files using Smart PDF Forms. Let me walk you through it:

1. On your My Forms page, click on Create Form on the top-left side of the page. 

2. Choose Import Form and then Import PDF Form.

3. Now, upload your PDF file.

4. Add the necessary fields and customize them using the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.

Sometimes, the fields that are automatically created in the PDF file will be in the wrong place. If that happens, you'll have to move and resize the fields. Check out the screencast below to see how to do that:
