WaywardRabbitsSCAsked on September 2, 2024 at 5:18 PMNow if I can figure out how to move records to either a different folder or even a different tab, then I'd be able to sort my records and keep this main area for things that are in work.... If you can help me with this, I'd be all set with everything I need to clean up this endless list I've been keeping since I haven't been able to figure that part out yet either.....hence me trying to at least archive most of the records.
Again...thank you. (My blood pressure has gone back down to the normal range! lol!) -

Hi Wayward Rabbits SC,
Unfortunately, it is not possible to create a folder within Tables to sort submission data. But if you're talking about moving submission data into different tabs, it is possible by filtering the submission data first depending on the field entries you want to sort and then create a tab for it. Here's how:
- In Tables, click on Filter at the top of the submission data.
- Enter the necessary information you want to filter in the Advanced Filters fields (i.e., choosing a field, what it includes, and the data needed to be filtered).
- Next, click on Apply Filter.
- The selected data will be shown based on the criteria you included in the filter. Click on Create a New Tab after that.
- Name the New Tab depending on your preference, and click on Create Tab.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I want to sort the entries by APPROVED and NOT APPROVED...... since these are applications to adopt a rabbit. I can create a filter for each person's name, but what happens when I change the filter to move the next person's record? Does it put the first person back in the general pile?
I'm trying to leave the main area as the 'in work' section to make it easier to process the new ones. The tabs would give me access to the history.....at least that's what I'm trying to do.
I tried to download the entire file in the hopes of recreating the spreadsheet in something were I can do what I'm trying to do, but I couldn't figure out how to read the files that I got.....it wouldn't open into any software format I had available..... -

Hi Wayward Rabbits SC,
If you want to sort the submissions by Approved and Not Approved you can select "Group by" in the Approval Column in your Submission Table. Let me show you how:
- In the Submission Table, click 3 Vertical Dots beside the Approval Column.
- Select the Group By on the dropdown menu.
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.
