    Hello team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am currently in the process of selecting a survey software solution and wanted to reach out to inquire about the capabilities of your platform.

Specifically, I am interested in whether your software can support the following requirements:

    1. Ability to communicate with external APIs:

We need to have a flow where a lead enters their birth date and time, which will then be sent to an external API (in this case, an API that calculates your moonsign). The response from the API (the leads moonsign) should determine the content they see in the next steps of the survey, such as headers, paragraphs and photos/graphics (dynamic content based on moonsign.

    2. Conditional logic

The software needs to have conditional logic that can determine which landing page a lead should be sent to, based on the data they have submitted during the form.

    3. Quick-loading multistep surveys

We need a software that loads survey questions, one at a time, with custom styles and content fast, page by page.

    4. Creation of Wordpress / CRM user after email is submitted

Collect data from a lead, then when email is submitted after, create a user in Wordpress / WooCommerece / CRM with this data (Data for session saved)

    Hi Lucads,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. JotForm can support some, but not all, of your requirements directly:

    1. Ability to communicate with external APIs:

JotForm allows you to connect with external APIs using Webhooks or by adding custom JavaScript via widgets or integrations like Zapier. You can send the user's birth date and time to an external API (like one that calculates a moonsign) and use the response to customize subsequent form content. However, implementing dynamic content changes within the form based on API responses may require custom development, as JotForm's built-in features are somewhat limited in this regard.

    2. Conditional logic

JotForm has robust conditional logic capabilities. You can use these to show or hide fields, skip pages, or redirect users to different URLs (landing pages) based on the data they input. This should meet your need to determine which landing page a lead is sent to based on form submissions.

    3. Quick-loading multistep surveys

JotForm supports creating multi-page forms (which can function as surveys) with custom styles and content. While the performance of these forms generally depends on the complexity of the form and the user's device/internet speed, JotForm is designed to load forms efficiently. You can also use custom CSS to style your form to match your desired aesthetics.

    4. Creation of WordPress / CRM user after email is submitted

This is partially supported. JotForm can integrate with WordPress and various CRMs through Zapier, Webhooks, or direct integrations. You can set up a workflow where, once an email is submitted, a user is created in WordPress/WooCommerce or your CRM. Data can be passed along with the form submission to create the user profile.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.
