How to Track Email Entry as a Conversion Event in JotForm for Facebook Ads?

I’m trying to figure out how to set up a Facebook conversion event on JotForm that triggers right after someone submits their email address, without them needing to finish and submit the whole form.

Basically, I want to track the lead as soon as they enter their email, even if they don’t go on to complete the rest of the form. This would really help with my Facebook ad campaigns, as I could retarget those who at least show initial interest.

Has anyone done this before or knows how to make it happen? Any tips or step-by-step instructions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

    Hi Larissa,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If I understand you correctly, you're trying to set up a Facebook conversion event that triggers as soon as someone enters their email in the form, even if they don’t finish filling it out. Currently, Jotform doesn’t allow you to add custom JavaScript directly to the form. But, you can download the full source code of the form and then embed that code on your own website. To get the full source code of your form:

    1. In Form Builder, go to Publish tab at the top.
    2. Go to Embed on the left sidebar menu, then click on Source Code at the bottom.Steps to access the form's source code in Jotform Form Builder Screenshot 10
    3. Copy the code provided and add it to your website. The Copy Code button in Form Builder's Source Code embed option Screenshot 21

You can select Download Source Code to get your form’s resource files and host them on your server. Once you have the form hosted on your own site, you can add custom JavaScript to the email input field to trigger a Facebook Pixel event whenever someone enters their email and clicks away from that field.

Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.
