Quantity Gift Registry and setting it to Required

Hello and thank you for your previous help. I'm using the Inventory Widget to set limits for seating at several concerts.

    I have two questions.

Occasionally someone submits without selecting any dates or seating options. I see from a previous thread a possible solution but I want to be sure I understand it correctly. "Setting ALL the inventory widgets as required, the user will need to select an item before they can submit the form. Automatically an error message will show that the field is required if they don't select anything." In other words, for all 18 of my "products", each one must be toggled as Required. But the customer will see the error only if NONE are chosen. Is that correct?

Secondly, the notifications I receive and the Submission table are not showing the date and seating option the customer has picked. I only see these in the integrated Google spreadsheet. How can I be sure this
information appears in the Submission table itself. I had introduced the INventory Widget on August 17 but none of the recent submissions show those results.

    Thank you for your help!

    Claudia

    Hi Claudia,

These are individual Inventory Widgets. So if you set all of them as required, then the user would need to select a quantity for all seating options. Do you require that they choose at least 1 seating option? I suggest you use the Quantity Gift Registry. You can add all the seating options in one widget. When you set it to required, it will push through even if they only select one seating option. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Add Form Element on the top left.Quantity Gift Registry and setting it to Required Image 1 Screenshot 30
    2. On the left panel, click on Widgets.
    3. Search and select Quantity Gift Registry.
    4. Click on the widget and click on the wand icon.
    5. On the items field, configure your seating options and the available inventoryQuantity Gift Registry and setting it to Required Image 2 Screenshot 41

You can still set this for calculation and pass the value to a payment field.

I moved your other question to a new thread and helped you with that here.

Reach out again if you need any more help.

We are using Inventory widget rather than Gift Registry as the result of a prior Support conversation. We need to show the number of tickets remaining available. Your response brings us full circle. So I'm quite confused. Given that the concerts are coming right up, I think we'll handle the individual glitches by telephone and email. I'm afraid to change the form too much at this stage.

On the other hand, I can't find a way to add a coupon code for the Couch seating purchased via Square. I'll open another thread.

    Thank you!
