I have created a contract via jotform. I have cloned it, and changed the name to reflect the client. Then I publish, reenter the form, and fill out my portion. The problem is the other person isnt able to see the portion I completed.
    please advise

    Hi Kinesha,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Can you send us the link to your form for us to investigate it? If you can take a screenshot of what’s happening, that will help us to better understand what’s going on. We have a guide about how to do that here.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

This needs to reflect like a contract, not some hidden form. And yes, I did select Dont Clear in settings.

    Hi Kinesha,

Just to confirm, are your submissions not showing on the Jotform Table? If you can share the link to your form, I can check it out and see what’s going on.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

Yes they are being shown on the table. I need the info reflected on a dual signature form.

i dont need to share the form. I have shown the entries are being recorded, I have shown the blank form where that information is no longer there.

Is there not a way to use Jotform as a CONTRACT? Where I create a CONTRACT, publish said contract, and then enter in the information for other signature holder to view and sign?

    Hi Kinesha,

The form can be used as a contract. If you can share the link to the form you're working on, we'll be able to see the issue and help you set it up. Please let us how the flow of the contract should be so we can help you with it.

Once we have a better understanding of the issue, we'll be able to help you with this.

    Hi Kinesha,

I checked your form and can see that there are two signature fields. Can you share more information on the flow of your contract? Do you initially fill out the form and sign it, and allow the other person to edit the form and sign the other signature field? In addition, I noticed that some of the fields are labeled as required but not set as required in the field's properties. If you wish to make the fields required and required to be filled out, then I would suggest setting it as required. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click the gear icon to open Properties.
    2. Under the general tab, scroll down, then toggle On the Required option.

Once we have a better idea of what’s going on, we’ll be able to come up with a solution.

The information to the question you have asked has already been provided.

Submitted at 11a today: “Is there not a way to use Jotform as a CONTRACT? Where I create a CONTRACT, publish said contract, and then enter in the information for other signature holder to view and sign?”

i repeat:: i create the contract. I publish the contract. I re-enter and complete one portion. I sign the contract. I receive an email about said information. The other person opens the contract at a later time and does not see the info I entered nor the signature.

Lastly: this is why i did not want to share the form. Now you are mentioning things that have nothing to do with why I reached out. I am aware not every line is set up as required. Let’s focus on the issue I have reaches out about. Also please review previous messages to avoid asking a question that may have been answered already.

    Hi Kinesha,

Take note that if the other user opens your form using its publish link, it will open a new blank form without the data you've submitted. If you want to let them access the form with the submission data, you can add an Autoresponder email to your form with an edit link on it, so the user can receive that email and click on the edit link to access your form with the submission data. I cloned your form and added the changes to it. Check out the screencast below:

As you can see, I was able to access the form with the submission data on it. You can clone my demo form to make things easier, or you can do it on your end. Let me show you how to do it:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Settings in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen.
    2. In the menu that opens on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
    3. Click on Add Email.

    4. Click on Autoresponder Email.

    5. Click inside Email Content.
    6. Click on Form Fields.
    7. Click on Edit Link.

    8. Click on the Recipients tab.

    10. Click on Save.

    Hi Kinesha,

To have the edit link option, you need to disable Jotform Sign Automation on your form settings. Here's how to do it:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Settings.

    2. Then go to Jotform Sign.

    3. Click the button to toggle off Jotform Automation.

Please note that if you disable Jotform Sign Automation, it will also disable the following features:

    • Automatically turn signed submissions into PDF documents
    • Receive an audit trail for each signed document
    • Disable submission editing
    • Require form users to give consent for their signatures

Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.
