Hi @Jotform Support -- this did solve my problem, but I do have one more question! How is the standard deviation being calculated? This summary is giving me different results than my spreadsheet.

    Hi Nicolette,

I tested the Standard Deviation on the Jotform Tables and Excel and I was able to replicate it. The calculated values are different on them so I created a ticket and escalated this to our Developers. Although we don't know exactly when it'll be fixed, we’ll circle back to this thread when we have an update.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

    Hi Nicolette,

Thanks for waiting patiently. I wanted to clarify something regarding the STDDEV function. The STDDEV function in Excel is used for calculating the sample standard deviation as explained in the link above.

In your case, to see the correct results in Excel, you should use the STDDEVP function, which is meant for the entire population. Just so you know, we’re using the same formula for STDDEVP in our system as well. So, we can consider it as an expected behavior.

If you can provide details about what you expect, we can understand your needs and help you better. Following that, we can escalate your request as a feature request to our developers.

If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out.
