    Now, coming back to your question, and as how I understand it, you want to know about keeping the data of a Jotform account, its forms and database, when switching plans, is that correct? If yes, note that when you upgrade from a free to a paid plan, your submission, storage, and payment limits increase immediately, ensuring you never run out of space for your important data. The additional features of your new plan also become available immediately upon upgrade. If you decide to downgrade from a paid plan to a free plan, the lower limits of the free plan take effect immediately. Unused time on your previous paid plan is added to your account as a balance that will be applied to your next bill.

    But, downgrading your account may affect the available data you have in the account, which may cause shortage when accepting submissions, files, or the like. This can also cause forms to get disabled, especially when one of your account's Usage and Limits has reached its quota, making forms unavailable and won't be able to accept new submissions. If that happens, you may need to upgrade your account again to a higher plan to accommodate the excess data, and give you additional storage to accept future submissions.

    In short, your data is retained throughout subscription upgrades, and limit changes are applied immediately depending on the plan you choose.
