Hello, I am applying a form to several people, but I've noticed that sometimes I can visualize the submissions as duplicates or triplicates. Why could this be happening, or how could I fix it? I am absolutely certain that these people did not submit the form twice or thrice respectively.
Thank you.

Hi Marcela,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Duplicate submissions might occur when the Thank You page is not closed after the form is submitted. It can be reloaded later, which will trigger a new submission causing a duplicate entry. To prevent this behavior, add a Captcha to the form or use an external link as a thank you page to never let the reload action resubmit the form's data.
Additionally, you can avoid this by setting unique submissions. It's really simple. Let me show you how:
- Open your form in Form Builder, and in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
- Click on the Show More Options button.
- Scroll down until you find the Unique Submission field.
- Select the option that works best for you.
For more details, you can check our guide on How to Set Unique Submissions on a Form.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
