Hello PearsonGareth,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. To disable email Notification, the Notification settings must be deleted. Kindly follow the steps below:
- In the Form Builder, go to the Settings.
- Click Emails on the left.
- Hover your mouse over the notification or autoresponder, then hit the delete (trash bin) icon.
- Confirm it by clicking Yes on the next section.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Yes and no. I'm trying to disable the settings, but not delete them. I don't think that functionality is possible at this time, right?

Hello PearsonGareth,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. That is correct. The function to disable a Notification setting is currently not possible. Since the feature is currently not available, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

Hi BorregoNelson,
We are excited to announce that you can now disable and enable both your Notification emails and Autoresponder emails without needing to recreate them. And it’s really easy to do. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click on Settings in the orange navigation bar at the top.
- Select Emails from the left panel.
- Hover over the email you want to change and click on the Three Dots icon.
- Choose Disable to turn it off, or Enable to reactivate it.
That’s it. Reach out again if there’s anything else we can do for you.
