I am trying to create a form with multiple sliding scale payment options. What is the best way to achive this? The form currently has one class option built out already, but would require the addition of 2 more classes with sliding scale payment options

    Hi Jeff,

Thanks for using Jotform. A sliding scale simply means giving users a range of payment options so they can choose the amount that works best for them. In your current setup, users can already enter their own amount, which does allow for flexibility. However, this approach doesn’t guide them toward your intended pricing range.

For a more structured and user-friendly setup, we recommend offering a few clearly defined pricing tiers (for example: $95, $125, $155, $175) so users can easily select an option. Let me show you an example of how to set that up:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Add Element menu on the left side of the screen.
    2. In the menu on the left, under the Basic Elements menu, drag and drop a Single Choice element.
    3. Change the label and the options so that users can choose the payment amount.

Then, we need to Assign Calculation Values to the options in the Multiple Choice element.

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Multiple Choice element, and click on the Gear icon.
    2. Then, in the menu that opens on the right side of the page, click on Options.
    3. Next, toggle on Calculation Values, and in the fields beside each option, input a number or letter that will serve as its value.

Next, you'll need to add a Form Calculation widget:

    1. In Form Builder and click on Add Element on the upper-left side of the page.

    2. Click on the Widgets tab, click on the Form Calculation widget to add it to your form.

    3. Then, select the Single choice field and click on Save.

Finally, we can pass the amount to the payment field.

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Product List field, then click on Coin icon.
    2. Next, toggle off Suggest an Amount.
    3. Then, under Get Price From, select the Form calculation widget you added.
