Camp_BurtonHello,
I am looking for help managing appointment time slots on our form. The AI agent informed me that I cannot manage the individual time slots, but I feel there has to be a way. If we get someone who calls in a reservation, I want to be able to manage that and adjust the available time slots on the form this way we do not get overbooked.
Im also looking for a way to hold one time slot for a coupon code holder, we are going to be giving one away as a donation for a fundraiser and we want allow the recipient to make a reservation at a specific time.

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Clara,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
Right now I do not have a canned guide that exactly matches managing individual Appointment time slots, blocking a specific slot for a phone reservation, or reserving a slot for a coupon-code holder, so I do not have enough information in my current knowledge base to give you precise, step-by-step instructions for that specific workflow.
I don’t know this information and our support team will handle your request.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Joseph Christian JotForm SupportHi Clara,
Blocking out dates in the Appointment field to restrict time slots only takes a minute. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click on the Appointment field, and then select the Gear icon to open its menu.
- Then, in the menu that opens on the right side of the page, click on the Limits tab.
- Next, set the Vacation and Holidays as you want.
Check out the screenshot below to see how it'll work:
If that’s not quite what you’re looking for, can you share a bit more info so I can help you better?Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.

Camp_BurtonHello Joseph,
Thanks for your response, however this is not quite what I am looking for.
We are hosting a Mother's Day Brunch, and the available time slots are
9:30am-1pm, in half hour increments. For each time slot, we have 6
available group slots. Reservations are coming in just fine and I am able
to track them all.
What I cannot do is take a reservation in person, through email, or on the
phone and *adjust* the number of available spots for a given time slot. If
I am unable to adjust, we run the risk of overbooking as I do not want to
force everybody to make a reservation online so I would like to be able to
manage reservations myself.
Similar but not so similar, we have another order form with a price and
stock option. I am able to adjust the number of stocks for each of our
items, and it is great. Basically I want to be able to do the same thing
with the reservation windows, I want to adjust the 'stock' per time slot as
needed.

Joseph Christian JotForm SupportHi Clara,
Currently, the Appointment field does not have a manual stock adjustment feature similar to the Product List. As a workaround for that, you can try to use the Ticket Purchases widget, which will allow you to manually change the available quantity directly at any time. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click on the Add Element menu on the left side of the page.
- Under the Widgets tab, search for the Ticket Purchases widget and add it to your form.
- Then, list your time slots as individual items in the Ticket types section and add 6 inside a curly bracket beside each option to set the quantity limit for each item to 6.
- Lastly, configure the rest of the widget settings as you want, and click on Update.
Then, to hold a slot for your fundraiser winner, you can simply reduce the available count by 1 for that specific time manually. The main difference is that these widgets do not have a calendar interface, but they provide the exact stock management you are looking for. You could also use the Inventory widget and Gift registry widget as alternatives.Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.

Camp_BurtonThats exactly what I am looking for! Let me give this a shot. I love the
curly bracket description.
Looks like I will need to reference our current submissions and account for
those when I adjust the number of tickets.
