Enosh_orgHi Jotform Support,
I would like to check whether the account owner/admin email can be prevented from receiving automatic email notifications for every form submission, even when no notification recipient is explicitly configured in the form.
It seems the account owner may be receiving default owner-level notifications, and I would like to know:
- Can these global owner notifications be disabled?
- Is there an account-level setting to turn them off?
- If not, is there a recommended workaround to stop the admin mailbox from receiving notifications for every form?
Thank you for your help.

Regarding your question about preventing the account owner/admin email from receiving automatic email notifications for every form submission, even when no notification recipient is explicitly configured:
By default, notification emails are sent to the account email address. There is no specific account-level setting to globally disable these default owner-level notifications for all forms.
However, if your form includes a Sign field and the Jotform Sign Automation is enabled, emails will always be delivered to your account's email address. This cannot be changed unless you disable the Jotform Sign Automation feature. Disabling this will stop these automatic emails, but note that your forms will no longer be legally binding once Sign Automation is turned off.
Here’s how to disable Jotform Sign Automation:
- In Form Builder, click on Settings in the top orange navigation bar.
- On the left menu, click on Jotform Sign.
- Toggle the Enable Jotform Sign Automation option to Off.
If your issue is not related to Sign Automation, there is no global setting to turn off owner notifications for all forms. The recommended workaround is to check each form's notification settings and remove or adjust the notification recipients accordingly.
