I really need to be able to filter a grid listing report. If I had that I could have a generic trip signup form a trip and then only show the attendees for a certain trip on a webpage. Is there any plan to provide such a feature soon?

    Thanks,

    Robin

    Hi Robin,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Regarding your need to filter a Grid Listing report by specific fields, such as showing attendees for a certain trip on a webpage, currently Jotform's Grid Listing reports allow you to create and customize reports that display form submissions in a grid format. You can set up reports with various configurations and share or embed them on your website.

However, direct field-based filtering within the Grid Listing report itself, specifically tied to dynamic filters like those in Jotform Tables, is not a built-in feature for Grid Listing reports at this time.

Jotform Tables offers advanced filtering options where you can filter entries by submission date, status, or specific field values, and even create new tabs for filtered data. This filtering is very flexible and can help you analyze and manage your form data effectively.

For your use case, you might consider using Jotform Tables to filter submissions by the trip field and then share or embed the filtered data accordingly. Unfortunately, there is no explicit information available about upcoming plans to add field-based filters directly to Grid Listing reports.

Here’s a brief overview of what you can do now with Grid Listing reports:

    • Create a Grid Listing report from your form submissions.
    • Customize the fields and settings shown in the report.
    • Share the report via link or embed it on your website.

And with Jotform Tables, you can:

    • Filter submissions by date, status, or specific field values.
    • Create new tabs to save filtered views.
    • Use advanced filters to narrow down data.

If you want, you can embed filtered Tables views on your website to achieve a similar effect to what you described.

I'm aware of table filtering and embedding them on a webpage but unfortunately you table is not customizable to match my theme. Grid Listing Report is very close and I already use them for certain forms. Please consider adding a filtered Grid Listing feature.

    Hi Robin,

Thank you for sharing your feedback about the Grid Listing report and the need for field-based filtering that matches your theme customization requirements. I understand that while Jotform Tables offer powerful filtering, the limited customization options for embedding can be a challenge for maintaining your website's look and feel.

I will make sure your request for adding a filtered Grid Listing feature is noted. Our support team may redirect your request to the related team for consideration.

Meanwhile, if you have any other questions or need assistance with existing features, please let us know.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Robin,

While the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.
