Payment Integration: Order ID Missing Error on T-Shirt Order Form with PayPal

Our PayPal account was linked to the t-shirt order form and now it isn't. This has been the most frustrating experience I have ever had! I am literally in tears!!!

The "Payment Error: Order ID is missing" usually happens when the PayPal account is not properly connected to the payment field on your form. To fix this, you need to reset the PayPal integration on your t-shirt order form by following these steps:

1. Open your form in Form Builder and click on the Product List field.
2. Click the Payment Properties icon on the field, then select Settings from the menu.
3. Click the green Connected button and choose Disconnect.
4. Click Connect again and sign in to link your PayPal account.
5. Click Continue to save the connection.

This should resolve the missing Order ID error by properly linking your PayPal account to the payment field.

Also, please note that several older PayPal products like PayPal Invoicing have been discontinued, so make sure you are using the current PayPal integration.

The Product List is grayed out and will not allow me to select.

However, if I select Payment Properties, it shows that PayPal link is live and in use.

The reason the Product List field is grayed out and cannot be selected is that your form already has one Product List field connected to the PayPal payment integration. Jotform only allows one Product List field per form when a payment integration is active.

Since the Payment Properties show that the PayPal link is live and in use, the Product List is part of that payment field, which is why it is not selectable separately.

To resolve the "Payment Error: Order ID is missing" issue, you should try resetting the PayPal integration connection by disconnecting and reconnecting it. Here’s how to do it:

1. Open your form in Form Builder.
2. Click on the payment field that contains the Product List.
3. Click the Payment Properties icon and select Settings.
4. Click the green Connected button and choose Disconnect.

I do not see a payment field that contains the Product LIst.

If you refer back to the last photo I sent, you will see what is listed under the Payment Properties.

It’s easy to Integrate PayPal Business payment gateway with Jotform. Let me walk you through it:

1. Open your form in Form Builder and click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
2. In the Form Elements menu, click on the Payments tab, and select PayPal Business.
3. In the menu on the right side of the page, click on Connect.
4. In the window that opens, enter the necessary information and connect your PayPal account with your form.

That's it. Now, you can collect payments through the PayPal Business gateway.

As you can see, it doesn't give me PayPal Business as an option.

It will NOT let me reselect PayPal because it is already showing that it is live and in use on my form!!!!!!

If PayPal Business is not showing as an option and your form already shows PayPal as live and in use, it means the PayPal integration is currently active on your form and you cannot add it again until you disconnect it first.

Since the Product List field is part of the payment integration and is not selectable separately, you need to disconnect the existing PayPal integration to reset it. Here’s how to do it:

1. Open your form in Form Builder.
2. Click on the payment field that contains the Product List.
3. Click the Payment Properties icon and select Settings.
4. Click the green Connected button and choose Disconnect.
5. Click Connect again and sign in to link your PayPal account.
6. Click Continue to save the connection.

This should properly link your PayPal account and resolve the missing Order ID error.

WHERE is the payment field that contains the Product LIst? I have already told you that Product LIst is grayed out on the basic forms menu and there is NO PRODUCT LIST under the payment tab!!!!!!!

It's easy to remove an existing payment integration from your form. Let me show you how to do it:

1. In Form Builder, find your Product List field and click on it.
2. Then, click on the Credit Card icon to remove the payment integration.

Once you remove the existing payment integration, you will be able to add a new payment integration and the Product List field will no longer be grayed out.

Let me help you with disconnecting the PayPal integration on your form 261126217327148. Here is how you can do this:

1. In Form Builder, click on the Credit Card icon in the upper right corner of the page.

2. In the Payment Properties menu on the right side of the page, click on the Trash Can icon under Payment Connection section.

3. Once this is done, you can re-configure the PayPal connection on the form.
