I cannot get the "Browse Files" text to go away on this form unless I hit the space bar in the button name field. It keeps returning.

How do I get rid of it?

    Hi Rob,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Regarding the "Browse Files" text on your file upload button that keeps returning unless you hit the space bar in the button name field, this text is the default label for the file upload button in Jotform.

To remove or change the "Browse Files" text, you need to edit the button label in the form builder. If the text keeps reverting, it might be due to the form builder automatically resetting it when the field is empty.

Here’s how to properly remove or customize the button text:

    1. Open your form in Jotform Form Builder.
    2. Select the file upload field.
    3. Look for the button label or button text setting. This is usually under the field properties on the right side.
    4. Change the button text to a single space or a custom label you prefer. Leaving it empty may cause the default "Browse Files" text to reappear.
    5. Save your form.

If you want to completely hide the button text, you might need to use custom CSS to hide the label, but this requires CSS knowledge and is not a default feature in the form builder.

If you want, I can guide you on how to add custom CSS to hide the button text.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Rob,

I took a look at your form and noticed that changing the theme of the form fixed the issue. Here's how to do it.

    1. In the Form Builder, click the paint roller icon on the right side of the page.
    2. Under Themes tab of Form Designer, click on dropdown menu where you’ll see the following options
    3. Hover your mouse over a theme you like and click Use Theme to add it to your form.Random Text Image 1 Screenshot 20

Let us know if that resolves the issue and if you have any other questions.
