NashvilletreefoundationHi - I need to update my organization's email information because it is currently linked to an old executive director's email. We no longer have access to that email, but it asks for a verification code every time I try to change it in my email. Is there any way someone could help me?

Podo: Support SpecialistYes, we can help with that, and we’ll just need to go about it a bit differently since you no longer have access to the old email.
Here’s what I recommend:
- First, please try the standard email change steps (if you haven’t already):
- Go to your Workspace page and click your Profile Picture/Avatar at the top-right.
- Click on your name to open the Account Page.
- Click Edit next to your current email address.
- Enter the new email address and click Save.
- If it still asks for a verification code sent to the old email (and you truly can’t access that inbox), then we’ll need to verify account ownership another way.
To move forward, please reply with:
- The username of the Jotform account.
- The current (old) email on the account (even if you can’t access it).
- The new email address you want to use.
Also, if you suspect you’re locked out or can’t log in at all, you can review this guide for options: Recover Your Jotform Account.
Once you share those details, I can guide you on the exact next steps for updating the account email securely. Let me know what you’re seeing on your end when you try to change it now.

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Nashvilletreefoundation,
Thanks for providing the details. Here's how you can update your account email address on Jotform when you no longer have access to the old email:
- Go to your Workspace page and click your Profile Picture/Avatar at the top-right.
- Click on your name to open your Account Page.
- Click Edit next to your current email address.
- Enter your new email address (trees@nashvilletreefoundation.org) and click Save.
If the verification code is required and sent to the old email (amber@nashvilletreefoundation.org), but you cannot access it, Jotform's system requires this step to confirm ownership for security reasons.
Since you cannot receive the code, the usual method won't work. In this case, you will need to verify your account ownership through alternative support procedures, which typically involve contacting Jotform support with proof of ownership.
For now, please review the Recover Your Jotform Account guide for options on how to regain access or update your email when the old email is inaccessible.
Once you have followed the guide or if you have any other questions, let me know, and I can assist you further.
