benalbeach4907I have deleted my submitted forms to restore my allowance for submitted forms, my account does not have a visible trash holding the files and allowance has not been restored.
Please tell how to delete files from your invisible trash file. If this doesn't exist please tell me how restore the allowed memory.
Thanks,
Ian

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Ian,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
When you delete submitted forms or submissions, they are moved to a Trash folder where they remain for 30 days before permanent deletion. This means the space they occupy is not immediately freed up, which is why your allowance has not been restored yet.
Let me help you with that:
To permanently delete submissions and free up your upload space:
- Open your Jotform Submission Table and select the submissions with uploaded files you want to delete.
- Click Delete in the upper-right corner and confirm by selecting Move to Trash.
- Go to the Trash folder by clicking the three dots icon on the main tab of your Submission Table and select Trashed Entries.
- Select all or specific trashed submissions and click Delete Forever.
- Confirm the deletion in the confirmation window.
This process permanently deletes the submissions and their uploaded files, freeing up your account's upload space.
Note: If your upload limit still doesn't update after purging, try clearing your form cache as sometimes the system needs to recalculate usage.
For forms themselves, deleted forms go to a Trash tab in your Workspace page. You can purge them manually there to free space immediately.
Here is a helpful guide on How to Delete Form Submission Data and How to Free Up Space in Your Account's Upload Limit.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
