Blank application forms that previously had information.

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Ingrid,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
It sounds like your application forms are showing up blank even though they previously had information. Let me show you how to address this:
One common reason for this is that the Notification Emails or PDF documents might be set to hide empty fields or not updated with recent submissions.
Here’s how to ensure your Notification Emails show all fields, even if some were left blank:
- In Form Builder, click on Settings in the orange navigation bar at the top.
- Click on Emails in the left menu.
- Hover over the Notification Email and click the Pencil icon to edit.
- Go to the Advanced tab and toggle off Hide Empty Fields.
- Click Save.
If you are referring to the form submissions themselves appearing blank, you might want to check if the form data is being prefilled or if there are any issues with how the data is being saved or displayed.
Also, if you are using PDFs generated from the form, sometimes the PDF file does not update with recent form edits or submissions. You can update the PDF by:
- Opening the PDF Editor from the downward arrow on the top-left of Form Builder.
- Clicking Yes, Proceed to update the file automatically.
- Or manually add fields in the PDF Editor by dragging form fields.
- Or create a new PDF document which will include all current form fields.
If you want to prefill a form with data from a previous submission, Jotform also supports that feature.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Otto JotForm SupportHi Ingrid,
After checking, it looks like you’re currently logged in using a Guest account. Guest accounts are temporary and only allow one-time access. I can confirm that the forms you’re referring to are linked to your registered account, so you’ll need to log in with the correct credentials to access them. If you recognize the email address associated with your account but can’t log in due to an incorrect password, the best option is to reset it. Resetting your Jotform account password is easy to do. Let me walk you through it:
1. Go to the Jotform Main page and click on Login at the top-right corner of the page.

2. In the window that opens, click on Forgot Password?.

3. Enter your email address, and then click on Send Reset Instructions.

4. You'll receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password. Open the email and click on the Reset Password button.

5. Enter your new password, enter it again to verify it, and then click on Create a New Password.
There you go. Your new password is now set, and you can use it to log into your Jotform account. You can also check out our How to Reset Your Jotform Password guide for more information.Reach out again if you need any other help.
