Product list: Text input

Hi, we are selling items that people can personalize. Please add in the product options the ability to add an open text box that someone can type to personalize a product. Thanks for considering.

That does not work well. It says it requires a quantity (also 0 or 1 don't work). I want an empty text box that people can type into in addition to a quantity selection. Please add this as a feature.

That work around does not work. When I type in the quantity box it just goes back to the number 1
